The caption ought to say it all, this reel arrived in perfect condition - great job of packing in double cartons. I highly recommend this model - and brand - also got a Reelcraft manual electric cord reel for 100ft of 10 ga & am equally delighted. Well worth the money to avoid frustration of stuff that breaks or doesn't work!

Looked at so many even bought and took back several hose reals. If people could just have the opertunity to stretch out the hose and compare the diffrence it's a NO BRAINER!

I demand Made in America products if I can get them. The plastic reel is poorly made and was a bad idea I could cast some plastic and have a better piece than reel craft made. Reel craft is maximizing profit and sacrificing quality. Spend the extra money and get the metal reel.

Wallace stainless flatware

This is very attractive flatware which would be compatible with many styles of dinnerware. My only reservation is that it is rather light in weight for its appearance, and I wonder how it will hold up longterm because of this. Otherwise, the style, finish, and usability are high-quality.

Reelcraft 7850 OLP

Reelcraft makes the best hose reels I have ever used, they are well made and long lasting (I have two that I have used for 20 years). The 7850 OLP 1/2 inch is the most popular size and length for shop use. At a weight of 52 pounds you will need to fasten to a stud or backing. I prefer the ceiling instalation with 2x12 backing. Unreeling most of the hose makes it lighter to install, and then a tug on the hose and it reels itself up. Requires a two-person install, one to hold it and one to install the fasteners. Pre-drill pilot holes for large lag screws. I recommend using a Parker HF-251-6-FP (automatic) coupling on the end (for those using Industrial Interchange style quick disconnects).

Don't waste your money buying the cheap China reels. The difference is obvious when you pull it out of the box. Several friends bought cheap reels and not a one of them happy with them. These are high quality and will outlast several cheap reels. I bought a second one but chose the one with the double support. A little more but feels a lot more heavy duty. Only problem is you will have to buy your own swivel to hook your air supply up to the reel. For the price they should include one when you buy the reel.
