a perfect fit for my glenfield bolt action rifle. It centers the scope over the barrel, whereas the previous mount did not.

Got this mount to replace the old Weaver sidemount on my Savage 340C .223. This is a good sturdy mount, but is too high for a good cheek weld. It "appears" high enough to use open sights also, although mine no longer has the open sights to verify. It is also about 3/8" longer than the Weaver, so I had to inlet the stock a little more.Overall a good mount, but not what I personally like. Would certainly be suited for scopes with a large objective lens (50-56mm) if that is what you use.

Ad said it came with installation instructions. It didn't. Good product but misleading ad. When I called to ask about installation instructions, I was told I didn't need them.
