5Excellent Four Thirds Super Telephoto
By James D. DeWitt
I spend a lot of time photographing birds. They don't cooperate. You need a lot of lens and a lot of light to get a decent shot. This lens is simply terrific at both. The colors are excellent, the pictures are crisp across the entire image and there is no chromatic aberration anywhere. The four thirds system provides very quick auto focus, crisp and responsive manual focus and relatively light weight. I say "relatively" because this is a big lens. You'll need a tripod or monopod to use it in all but the brightest conditions. The lens is amazingly sturdy in the field. It was undamaged by a fall that cracked two of my ribs. It works consistently and reliably in very hot (90 degrees plus) and extremely cold (-45 F) conditions. I've carried it outdoors all day at temperatures below zero and never had a problem.Highly recommended.

5Scary good lens
By Daniel H. Freeman, Jr.
I take a lot of high school soccer photos. Light is bad and the action fast. I think this lens is perfect. It is heavy and powerful. It gets the job done. There is almost no distortion and the it puts me on the field with action. It is not easy to use, a tripod is necessary, although if you have good upper body strength a monopod works. Nothing is like it.

5Excellent lens that I rented
By Tony
I photographed the NCAA Lacrosse semifinals this weekend and had rented this lens to use with a borrowed 1.4x converter.I own the 35-100mm lens and think that is the standard that all oly glass should be measured to.I have used the 90-250mm f2.8 lens and was not impressed. However, this lens is simply amazing. If I had the cash today I would buy this lens tomorrow. It is that good.Autofocus was spot on. Much faster than the 90-250mm.For giggles, while on the sidelines of the stadium I was able to photograph a worker in the lights above the stadium.

4Great product - but one caveat
By P. Heald
This new nailer (the FC350A) is one great tool. Very powerful, a good range of nail sizes, not too heavy, works well even in the lower psi range. Well made, simple to maintain. I chose the clipped head over the full round head because the magazine doesn't stick out quite so far. Which leads me to the caveat. If you search for nails for this gun, you'll see many manufacturers stating compatibility. Also, you'll see sites quoting the gun works with nails strips from 30 to 34 degrees. This is not so! You *must* have nails strips of 34 degrees, except for the shortest length nails. Why? If you go to Home Depot and purchase a box of 3 inch nails, clipped head paper collated, like those from Grip-Rite (who state compatibility with the FC350) you'll notice they are 33 degrees instead of 34. This one degree difference means that longer nails don't get punched by the nailer - the impact head just slides down the nail. Shorter 33deg nails sometimes work because their short length means the head is more in line with the impact head. So really the problem is in trying to obtain 34 degree paper collated nail strips. I've tried everywhere, including all the merchants listed on the PorterCable website. I finally ordered online from www.circlesaw.com who have the right range. It's a great tool, it's just a pain in the $%#$% to get the right nails, at least right now. Maybe it's still early days.

5Nails work great for me!
By RJ
I'm not sure why someone experienced problems with the 33 degree nails from grip-rite at Home Depot. I bought the FC350A nailer from Amazon and bought a box of 3 1/4 inch x .131 hot dipped galvanized nails from Home Depot. The nailer and the nails work great for me! I really love the size of this nailer. Very nice improvement over the older version. The price from Amazon is also very competitive. I am extremely pleased!!!!Update - After running several hundred Nails through this nailer, I stand by my earlier conclusions. I have not had any problems with the Grip-Rite nails from Home Depot. I plan to try the Paslode 30 degree nails in this nailer. Great Nailer!!!I built many projects with this nailer including a pool fence, framed decks, framed buildings and framed my basement. I stand by my earier comments. This nailer is superb and the Home Depot nails work fine!

5Easy to handle and powerful...
By J. Jones
I bought one of these guns back in the beginning of 2004. I have 4 now. It's very well balanced. It drives 3 1/4 nails in lam beams with ease. As long as the preasure is right on the compressor. I like the switch on the trigger for the sequential or bump fire. And then the depth knob on the nose is handy too. I sold off my two Dewalts, two Sencos, and Craftsman framers because I never used them after I got this one. It loads like a Senco from the bottom of slide. Makes for a quick reload. Mine all have cases too which is nice. The only framer I have beside these guns is my Paslode. This gun is the right size with short magazine gets into tight spots. I have only had one problem with one them the drive broke but it was under warranty. If you want a gun that will please and take a beating at good price get this one.

5Do the numbers first then buy it
By HMMWV
I guess you sum up teleconverters as a way to get a little more out of your lens(es), but at a price. Olympus has not kept up on their "compatibility list" for this - it turns out it works on alot of lenses that are not on the "compatibility list" - even other (sigma) brands. So the five stars are for its compatibility in the system. Before you buy it - look at all your options. I did finally buy it but first I looked at a "better" lens. They were all slower than my existing 50-200mm + 1 stop. It ends up being a 283 mm lens with the OLY teleconverter, so it was the best solution overall. It's not exactly 1.4 but pretty closeI did not like loosing the 1 stop, and I did notice the darker image in the viewfinder as the 1 stop loss is not removed while focusing like any dialed in stops are, but that's the real price you pay - you are just more aware of it. I use the converter on about 10% of my shooting with the 50-200 lens when I am outside and have a tripod or inside with a GN 50 flash. Remember it magnifies your movement too so a good tripod helps with the extra weight.A last couple of notes - keep in mind your photo size is 4 x 5.33" and not 4x6 so be sure to zoom out just a bit and leave a boarder for post processing into 4x6 standard prints. Having the extra zoom tends to make you want to fill the frame but then you must cut something later. Your camera's weight and balance will change too. Pick a decent tripod that can handle the combined weight of your lens, body, teleconverter, along with flash and extra power systems. A flimsy tripod will show in your 1:1 pixel reviews of your shots. Finally, the 1.2 x magnifier for the eyepiece seems to work really well with this in your optics line to aid in focusing with the extra 1 stop you can not take out of your lens. This is a quality product from Olympus and extends your flexibility on many lenses, but at a price. If you own a "favorite" lens, this is probably a great add-on but ask around about compatibility first as new lenses are showing up all the time.

5Works great with the 70-300mm lens
By ubat
I wanted the EC14 1.4x teleconverter primarily to extend the range of my 70-300 mm lens for bird photography. I'd read all the reviews, critiques and forums beforehand, asked for advice and practical tips and knew what I was getting myself into: more zoom, one stop less of light, meaning 840 mm reach (the four thirds system used by Olympus automatically doubles the range of any lens because of sensor peculiarities) and f/8.0 with the lens fully extended. There's no denying I had my qualms before closing the deal. For that price I could get a decent shorter lens instead, or save up towards another zoom lens. But what sold me on the EC14 was the prospect of getting closer to the birds without lugging a ton of equipment around. So I bought it......And waited for a week before a bright, sunny day came along. I attached it to the E-520 and the 70-300 mm (it couldn't be easier and more fool-proof) and set out to test it. The results were beyond my expectations. I got sharp, bright, close photos of birds and anything else at which I pointed my camera, the lens behaved exactly as it usually does, focus was as good as it is without the teleconverter and f/8.0 was just fine for the light conditions. In fact, the photo geeks always say that the 70-300 mm's "sweet spot" -- the setup in which this lens will produce its sharpest images -- is exactly f/8.0, and now I have to agree with them (at 300 mm I always used this lens at its minimum aperture, 5.6, to get faster shutter speeds).I am really, really happy with the EC14, and having this range with a setup that is still light and easy to carry around the whole day is a dream come true.

5Olympus EC14 1.4x teleconverter
By M. Barry
I have taken about 500 shots with the EC14 1.4 paired with the Zuiko 50mm - 200mm zoom lens on my Olunpus Evolt E-500 DSLR and am quite pleased with the results to date. I have experienced no problems with operation of the lens or image quality. Images are bright and crisp. The 40% zoom gain really helps to fill the frame when shooting wildlife without having to move in so close as to disturb them.

5Believe The Hype!!!
By E. A. Brown Jr.
I have plans to begin finishing out my basement in the near future. After researching several different brands of framing nailers, I decided on this one based on the overwhelming number of positive reviews it received. After only breaking it in, I can tell you that I can see why everyone has such good things to say about this nailer. It is without a doubt a quality, powerful, confidence-inspiring piece of equipment that anyone would be proud to own.I bought it right after I purchased the Porter-Cable CFFN250N combo kit. After breaking in the compressor (very important I might add), I set the regulator at 100 psi, and connected and loaded the nailer with 3" .120 coated framing nails. I found a couple of scraps of 2x4, stacked them one on top of the other, and let her go. At 100 psi, and with no adjustment to the gun right out of the box, it went through both pieces and sank the first nail perfectly flush, no problem! After a few more test shots, I gave the depth adjustment on the gun a quarter turn just to see what difference it would make. At the same pressure, it put the head of the nail slightly below the surface of the wood, just as it should. As expected, there was quite a bit more recoil with a nailer this size, and I found that just a little more pressure on the board helped when firing a nail. After all, it is shooting a 3" nail in one shot! I also changed the trigger to the "contact actuation" mode, which shoots a nail every time you touch the tip to the wood. This is a great feature, but as one other reviewer noted, I would suggest using it with caution. In the hands of someone unfamiliar with it's operation, it could be very dangerous! Nevertheless, it worked flawlessly, and all initial indications are that this gun will serve me well for many years to come. It's amazing what having the right equipment can do for your confidence level, especially if you're an amateur like me!On a side note, I was also very pleased to see that such an affordable and relatively small compressor (2HP, 6 gallons) could produce more than enough pressure to power this gun. The compressor will produce 135 psi, and the gun's operating range is from 70-120 psi. As noted above, I had no problem with 3" nails at 100 psi. Also, I can't say enough about the deal I got here at Amazon on this nailer. I caught it on a good day at less than $200, ordered the 17-piece accessory kit with it, took advanatage of the $25 off and free shipping offer, and still came out almost $50 cheaper than I would've paid for the nailer alone at the big orange store! Thanks Amazon. You are an asset to the online shopping community!

5Great Framing Nailer
By P. Holley
Just finished house number 2 with this bad boy. You just can't beat Porter Cable. Stick with the 350A instead of buying the 350mag. It is only about a pound heavier, comes with a case and you save $40.

Very Well Balanced Machine, little fatigue during the day. Great hands-free depth adjustment. Extremely easy to load, advance and clear. You can change from restrictive to sequential fire easily on the trigger.

My Hitachi can now be retired, I will not go back, this is my framing nailer of choice. As another reviewer seems to have found out, this is not an appearance nailer, for something like siding you may want to try the Porter-Cable RN175A Coil. I have had no problems sinking 16D's in even engineered lumber. For everyday use the 350A is highly recommended.

2Rough Framing isn't for everyone
By Celtic Framer
Rough Framing is not for everyone or every nailer. We had three of these porter cable nailer because of the price on a framing crew. As time went on we had one nailer on the job because two were always in the shop. The guns do not have the duribility needed to stand up to driving a few thousand nails a day. We oil the guns every day and keep the compressor at 110 but still had problems. The guns jam at least twice a day and there is no easy way to fix them while hanging off the side of a house. I've used Dewalt, Hitachi, Bostich, and a few other and never had to wonder if they would fire each time I pulled the trigger. It is also tricky to change out a clip of nails once they are loaded. The tool free adjustable muzzle and depth are nice features. I wish that the nailers were put together better. We chose to go to Hitachi and get a nailer worth the money.

5A total life-saver! Highly recommended for any type of inflammation
By Book Lover
After I took the flu shot a few years ago (I had never taken one before), I had terrible muscle aches and pains that went on for a long time, like months. I was like a cripple. I tried everything, including finally going to a rheumatologist who prescribed me cortisone. Right before i started on the cortisone, I found out about Vitalzym and started taking large doses of five or six pills three to four times a day. Within a week, all my pain was gone. I now continue with a maintenance dose of three tablets a day as I have since found out that inflammation is a big cause of many diseases.I think that only good can come of taking this supplement. It is important that you do not take with food or else it will just act as an expensive digestive enzyme. If you take at least one hour AWAY from food, it will instead digest the things in your body that cause inflammation. Also one must take it with a lot of water.I wonder if the people that say it didn't work for them followed the rule of not taking it within an hour of food.To me it was a total miracle in my life!Highly recommended!!

5Works for fibroid tumors & scar tissue
By Anonymous
Great product! I have tumors, my physician wanted to do surgery, but I did not want to because the tumors were benign. I begain seeing an acupuncturist that prescribed Vitalzym. I was concerned because she said that I can take a large dosage and I'm rather small (5'1" about 100lbs) so I looked at energeticnutrition.com website and reviewed the activation dosage and began taking as much as 30 pills daily to eat away the fibin tissue that make up the tumors. With detoxing my system (dandelion, burdock, milk thistle) and changing my diet (no meat if so organic, fresh fruits veggie) and regular exercise and rest... it worked. The treatment helped reduce the size of the tumors. I went from looking like I was 3 months pregnant to having a flat stomach (fibroid tumors). In my case, as I stated, I detox my body every possible way for the Vitalzym to have the full effect. Although VitalzymX is now available without a prescription, I prefer the original formula. For information on the activation dosage and stories from others that used the supplement check the energetic nutrition website. I hope this helps.

5works great
By Scott R. Bailey
bought this after the hurricans hit Fl.last year. Have done a half dozzen roofs with it includding my own and some hardee planking and it has worked flawlessly, no jams, concistant drive depth, the guy that had problems with it might have been a compressor problem. The people that I've been roofing with have hitachis and stanley bositches and the inexpensive little porter cable works the best. Also like the new selctable trigger switch, wish all my nail guns had it.

5Works good!
By John McQuitty
I have one of these little nailers - mostly used for roofing sheds. It works good. No complaints. Maybe one nail in 80-100 I'll finish with a light tap with a hammer. That's probably more a ding on the little compressor I use than on the nailer. For what I use it for it works fine. As the man said - It sure beats a hammer.

4Very good for the price - with some drawbacks
By Caslo Cranston
Update 8/12/08 - always add a little lubricant for every 3 hours of useStill functioning like the champ!I had used a friend's Bostitch coil nailler several times in the past. It was finally time to buy one of my own. I have always been a fan of Porter-Cable tools. The fantastic price offered by Amazon on this refurb was too much to resist.I unboxed my nailer to find it in almost new condition; one slight scuff mark. i was suprised to find it much smaller and lighter than the Bostitch I had used before. I had ordered a RN175AR and received a RN175A. R - for refurbished.Part 1A couple of weeks later I was ready to put it to the test.Location - Luling, Louisiana - 25 miles from New OrleansI had a circa 1960, 11 square roof that had been redecked with 1/2 plywood over 1 x 10 planks. In keeping with the 30 year, architectural, shingle manufacturers specifications ( driven nails must extend through decking) I chose to use a 1 1/2 inch nail.Compressor PSI set to 100 lbs.Six nails into the job an obvious issue became apparent. Some of the nails had not been driven completely - a few whacks with a hammer and all was ship shape. Time to look for the depth adjustment. Whereas I had recieved a safety brochure but not an operation manual - I was left to clever out the depth adjustment mechanism. ( pretty obvious - as was the operation of switching between single nail and multiple nail settings.)With the depth adjustment set to maximum I made another test. Same problem. So I increased the compressor pressure to 125 lbs - Same problem. Then 130 lbs ( the stated maximum for safe operation of the the tool.) - Same problem. For every 10 nails attempted- 1 or 2 needed to be massaged with a hammer. Time consuming but assuredly better than hand nailing. On that job a fellow worker was using his Rigid coil nailer. Outside of a couple of minor differences - the Porter Cable and Ridgid nailers appeared to be quite alike. Was he having the same problem? Yes.So I was able to conclude that this particular application exceeded the abilities of both of these nailers. There was a section of roof that contained all new wood. In that area both guns worked flawlessly.Part 2Several weeks later a friend, who has far more roofing experience than I, asked to borrow the Porter- cable coil nailer. He had loaned his Bostitch RN145 out and could not wait for it to be returned.Apprised of my experience - he thought of a possible solution. He chose to change the hose nipple at the rear of the gun from 1/4" to 3/8" to configure with his equipment. It seemed to make sense that this may solve the problem.Unfortunately not.Similarly, he was able to nail without problems into all new wood and only found difficulties when nailing into time hardened subdecking.ConclusionPutting our experiences together we have conjectured that the porter-cable because it is light and small is a great choice for new construction. However, the extra weight and size of the Bostitch (bigger piston with more mass) for about the same price (refurb), may be the better choice for rennovations.Caslo

5Item Great/ Shipping unable to floow simple instructions
By Aj Bilbrey
I finally got the product after weeks on back order, then when I received it, it was not shipped per package specifications. Its so simple if you can read the label. "This product has to stay refridgerated", but someone, either overlooked this or did not bother to read and the product was unfortunately ruined and had began granulating, unlike fresh and refridgerated from the same company in the past. I rate the product high, as when it is shipped correctly, it has wonderful benefits and will make you feel great, unlike a batch of incorrectly shipped and ruined Royal jelly. I was sure, the S&H instructions stated that they shipped it on ice to keep it cold, but I must be thinking of another websight. After such a long wait, it really turned out to be such a dissapointment, although I know it is by no fault of the Y.S. Organic Bee Farms (other than allowing a company,Vitamin Shoppe, in not reading the instructions specific to maintaining the freshness and quality, ship the items on ice or keep cold). The product is wonderful if you can find a shop that keeps it cold for freshness and potency.

5Start feeling great!
By Mike M.
I knew I was mineral deficient. I have always taken vitamins but realized I was not getting the minerals I need from my diet. After taking Mega Minerals for 2 weeks I feel great! My workouts don't seem to bother me as much. Minerals like iodine are essential to a well balanced metabolism.

4A good supplement for someone who needs additional calcium
By D. Randall
I'm lactose intolerance and don't drink milk or a lot of dairy products. I take these to supplement my calcium/mineral intake. So far, I've tolerated and haven't incurred any problems with the capsules

3Nifty little printer
By L. Wright
...

After a thorough search and reviews, it came down to Epson. The ink supplier's cost for Epson cartridges was very reasonable and based on that and Epson's reputation, I went with the Epson C44UX.

It's a slim, space saving printer. Measures about 17" which fit on my shelf very nicely. It's lightweight, but most printers today are lightweight. I was very concerned about the ink cartridges and was pleased that it took two ink cartridges. ...

This Epson has an ink status screen. When it prints the status box pops up and you see how much ink is available.

This printer is noisy, as are all inkjet printers. It's a poor paper grabber. Better to put 10 sheets in the feeder tray vs. a lot. ....

The printing speed is average, about 6 ppm. The color is brilliant.

The USB cable connection accommodates the newer computers. The USB cable is not included with the printer, which will require an additional $10 cost

Installing the CD software drivers was a snap. Just put the CD in the tray and it instantly started up.

Overall, This printer will be used for short-term until I can afford to get a better printer.

5Slow but accurate
By A Customer
I originally purchased this printer to do crude color labels. When I tried using it for photo output, it turned out to be quite good. It takes a long time to produce a 7.5 x 5 print on heavy 8.5 x 11 matte photo paper, like, about 12 to 15 minutes, but the results are excellent. One set of cartridges will print out about 75 large size photo prints. The accuracy is excellent and the resolution is excellent also. I've used older HP color printers and there were always problems with banding or ink wash out, or something or other, but this little printer has produced very consistent, good quality prints. I have gotten the best photo enlarging results using Epson Premium Lustre Photo Paper. I'm not sure how fast the more expensive printers are, but if time is no object, this printer is a good choice.

2Blotchy
By Jennifer F. Schulz
This printer prints poorly. When the ink gets low you will notice it more, but it can print with noticeable lines and the ink can get blotchy. It does tend to grab more pages when you fill it up. Is is ok for things you are only going to look at, but not for a resume. It's cheap, that's all I have to say about it.

5If there ever was an All-In-Wonder this is it!
By Leon B. Olson
All anyone has to do is read the label on this and understand its ingredients. The human body needs so much more than we give it in order for it to survive in this world! Today's commercial over-processed and hormone induced foods are polluted with chemicals, depleted of vital enzymes and nutrients that are essential to our body for it to function properly. Ever wonder why there are so many drugs for everything? If your body is working right it will not require medications, therein which can cause side effects that require more drugs etc. By the way, Drug companies don't care about you! As long as you are sick they get paid! Health is bad business! But that is a separate issue all together. This is one of the best whole food supplements available! Start with two a day then work up to three. Powerful stuff! Do your research and be good to your body!

5The Cadillac of Vitamines
By W. Jacobs
These are the best vitamines that I have ever taken. They have everything that the body need in them. My sister is a kidney recipient as a result of lupus (a dreadful disease). And she was weak and tired all the time as you can imagine. After taking these, she doing so much better. Very active and full of life. Another thing, ordering from you I get these at half the price that I was getting them at the local health food stores. Thanks for a great product.Dr. Jacobs, DC
