Great product

This product is well made and will last. It suprised me just how many tools it came with. I can use it in the garage as well and the cars rugs hadn't looked that good ever. The hose protector took awhile to put on but it is made out of a poly streach material that protects everything it touches. It allows the hose to slide easily by furniture legs and other objects as well as protecting the hose.Great product, well thought out ""good job Nutone".

Like it so far.

This is a really nice looking piece to my central vacuum. There are many things I like about it. Very easy on, off when detaching the hose for around the room deeper clean. Easy on off button that does not get in your way as you work. The floor up and down button is very easy to use and the on off button that is parallel to that both our a tap of the foot. The tubing is strong and I like it covered. I will be updating this review and I have to clean things out or as things break. I have only had this for a couple months and have been happy so far.

Great replacement

Love the new power head package! Drug my heals because I was so uncertain. Finally chucked up and purchased this model and I love it! Lighter weight more mobile and flexible. Hide does link sometimes but that's understandable . Love the sick cover that is saving my walks and trim work. Would buy again and recommend. Powerful cleaner good price. Light is NOT too bright as someone wrote. Extension handle is convenient too

Top quality filter

I bought this filter for my Canon 50mm f/1.4. The 50mm lens consistently gives me my top images so I wanted a good quality filter for it. My main goal here is protection of my lens, but at the same time I wanted something that didn't degrade my images. I usually get lower quality filters but this time decided to splurg for the expensive one.My first impression was that this thing actually has some weight to it. It feels like you're actually getting something. When you pick it up, you can really notice a difference in lower quality filters (I usually bought Hoya or something from Best Buy in the past). This is well built.Second impression is that this filter is *crystal* clear. My other filters are not as noticeably clear as this.Now, when I have taken photos with this, I have still gotten the nice crisp clear shots I normally got with my 50mm. So it's protecting the lens and keeping my shots clear--exactly what I want from it. You may get exactly the same with a cheaper filter, I didn't try anything else. All I can tell you is that this filter delivered.Also, I don't think I saw it listed in the specs, but this is the MRC model (meaning Pro grade).

I thought a filter was just a filter--I was wrong!

I have always used Hoya filters because I thought they were a good value--which they are! However, I have always found Hoya filters difficult to clean. I just purchased my first B+W filters and now I plan to replace all my other filters with B+W filters. Yes, they are more expensive, and I thought the reviews were over-inflated and perhaps a little snobish. I am now a beliver! The quality of the filter construction is unmatched and they can be thoroughly cleaned without any smudges in under a minute. The photo quality is excellent as well! I love this product and it is certainly worth the extra money in the long run.

great filter

this is a wonderful filter.clean your front element, place this filter on it, and now you never have to think about it again. the thread fit is very good on both ends of it.the canon 67mm cap fits on the front of this filter perfectly. there's even a slight raised metal lip so that the cap doesn't sit against the filter glass.well engineered, and worth the money.

30' Vacuum Hose

The item arrived on time and in perfect condition. I also purchased a hose set from my big box home repair store. Between the two products, I had lots of adapters and was able to extend the reach of the product to about 40'. My next step is to construct a connector so I can vacuum inside the house while leaving the shop vac outside the house. With the shop vac outside the house, I won't have to worry about polluting the air in the house.

Garage Vacuum Hose

The hose is 50ft long, but I bought this product as an extension to a second 50ft hose. The hose couple easily and now allow me to vacuum the cars outside of the garage as well. The end to couple the various attachments is not standard sized,so other makes of attachments will not fit the larger sized hose end. I researched the prices on line and this appeared to be the most economical at the time, and has been exactly what I expected. /a good value.

B & W offers three filters for infrared photography, each with its' own unique features. #092. This dark red filter is primarily for black and white infrared films. It filters out light below 650 nm. With color infrared film it produces pictures of a pure red image while making good use of the relatively low sensitivity of infrared films. Filter factor is approx. 20 - 40. #093. This black infrared filter will filter out the entire visible spectrum. It is used with black and white infrared films with a sensitivity up to 1000nm. Filter factor is determined by the film sensitivity. #099. This orange colored filter blocks the blue and blue-green portion of the visible spectrum up to 500 nm. It reduces the excessive sensitivity of color infrared films in this spectral range, separates colors more evenly thereby avoiding a blue tint. Filter factor depends upon the film's sensitivity.

Infra Red

This is a finely made filter. Brass ring and Schott glass. You really can't beat the Germans for optics. Build quality is top notch.Its hard to find something to explain how an IR filter works, but here is a brief explanation the Wratten scale and where this filter fits.Visible light ranges from 400 nanometers (violet) to 700nm (red). The table shows absorption limits for a range of infrared filters. This filter falls towards the end of the table.Filter AbsorptionWratten #25 600nmWratten #29 620nmWratten #70 680nmWratten #89B 720nmWratten #88A 750nmWratten #87 800nmWratten #87C 850nmWratten #87B 930nmAs you can see, this filter covers the high end of the IR scale. It takes extremely long exposures to get a usuable image. Most IR photos you see are done with a Wratten 89B filter. Its right at the middle of the scale and will effectively filter out all visible light. This 87C filter also filters out visible light, but also some IR light. This is what causes the excessively long exposures. You need alot of light to make this work.If you have patience, and don't mind spending quite a bit of time doing some trial and error, you can come up with some really nice photos.

Perfect replacement kit.

This kit was to replace the original one that came with the house and was probably 20 years old. I kind of expected that this one will not last 20 years and having using it for a while it does seem not as sturdy as the old one. Having said that this kit is good. It's light, easier to use and store. Used it a few times and cannot think of any complaints. Keep in mind that the protective hose cover makes the whole hose a little bit slippery to handle.

Does what it is supposed to do and does it well

I admit that I have not used it that much, in fact only twice. It did a great job for creating the flare and it lives up to what it is supposed to do. Either I am not creative enough (thus envisioning using it more) or I just have not had the need to use it. But I've always wanted one and am happy to add it to my arsenal of filters. The reason for the lack of the last star is because I don't use it much.B+W make some great filters. Yes, they are often pricy but I have found that as a brand, they create less flaring than other brands. I will probably only buy B+W in the future.A personal opinion: If you are like me and won't use it much, consider which cross star would best meet your needs (4x, 6x, or 8x). I would probably not go for a 4x. the 6x is great. The 8x might be better, depending upon your needs, requirements and personal tastes.

Excellent filter

I'm upgrading all my filters to BW. I think, the filter is a fundamental piece with the lens. This filter is very good constructed, your ring is in brass and the glass is high quality. The six star filter is to use in specific situations, with one or two lights in background. In specifics events, like birthday, weddings and, in some cases, landscape at night. The abusive use of this filters may turn your photo unproperly. You have to think, before, the result you want.

Outstanding Produce

Like a lot of other photographers, I consider a polarizing filter to be really valuable for outdoor photography, especially landscape work. My 24-70mm Zeiss Vario-Sonnar, on a Sony A900 (full frame), will vignette at the widest angle with any polarizer but this slim profile design B+W. Such vignetting is more bothersome than fatal, but sometimes I have to use the photograph right up to the corner edges and vignetting there creates a lot more work in Photoshop. The B+W , slim line, 77MM Circular Polarizer does NOT vignette.

Thin Polarizing Filter

I think a polarizing filter is a must for outdoor photography. Polarizers add a punch, especially clouds and sky, that cannot be duplicated, even with the magic of Photoshop.It is a must if you are shooting water in the sun, often lets you see below the surface of streams and shallow ponds.This particular filter is built thin enabling it to be used with a wide angle lens without vignetting. I have used it with a 10-20 mm lens with excellent results.Always use filters whose quality matches your lens - this filter is excellent and will suit the very best lenses.

Great mount for your 15" LCD TV!

Although a little pricey at $87, this is overall a great mount for flat screen LCD TV's. I first purchased the 'Easy mount', which made the TV stick out too far from the wall. I was looking for something flatter against the wall and this short arm was perfect, plus it allows for various positioning. It's flexible and sturdy. I recommend 2 people for installation though. It's a bit awkward to mount, but nothing impossible. If I can handle it..believe, me anyone can.

I have two these. Its heavy duty and very sturdy. I use them to compliment the avenger c stands that I use in my shop. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in the market for a strong professional grade boom arm. I've had some of the cheepies but they simply can't compare to this quality.

Easy to read and understand

Good MTM's for the price

I bought three of these to be the front speakers for my 6.1 home theater setup. I have hung them from the ceiling and they work very well.They are provided with a decent swivel mounting bracket for attaching them perpendicular to to a flat service, but since I wanted to mount them vertically (provides the best dispersion pattern for MTM's) and at an angle, they were a little bit of a challenge to mount. The case is plastic and it would ruin them to drill any holes for hardware (e.g. eye-hooks). However, I was able to mount them successfully by using the threaded brass inserts at the back and top.
