A must for all contact lens owners

This is the best item I've ever used with my contacts. I take zyrtec-D and have a lot of dry eye problems. After using this unit, rewetting drops is a thing of the past. However, I do recommend that you still usa a MPS (multi-purpose solution) once a week as this system will note eliminate the very rare, yet painful (and hard to get rid of) ameobic strains of infection. Using these two methods concurrently will make your lens wearing comfort increase!!

Great System but Too Many Unit Failures

Really enjoy the feel on my eyes that my contacts have after being cleaned! (I have not, however, done any researching regarding the actual efficacy of the cleaning procedure). The system works great for about 4 to 6 months. After that the unit stops working. I have been using this system for almost two years now and have been through about 4 or 5 units. The electrical contacts on the bottom part become corroded and no amount of scrapping seems to fix the problem. So far this has been a minor inconvenience since I have been able to return the faulty unit and get a new one free of charge. I hope they will keep exchanging the broken units free of charge.

THE Best System to disinfect contacts

This system is great in order to disinfect my contacts. I use Acuvue Advance for Astigmatism (great contacts as well) and this system works great for it. It honestly feels like I'm putting in a fresh pair of lenses in every day. It's unfortunate to see so few people knowing about this system as it is a must buy. If you're fed up with the crapiness of current products and want something new, this is definitely something to invest in. I've had it for 2 years and it still works great.

The game was decent, but there are so many "strip" cards in the deck and on the board that we got all the way to naked before my boy even pulled a "draw this" card! Neat idea, meh on the execution. Make sure you don't mind messing up the sheets.

Great Fun

Contrary to other's advice on doing this with a new fling, my wife and I had great fun with this game. It is true that you get down to your bare essentials rather quickly, but we kept playing with just the chocolate and dare cards -- our goal was to land on the "favor" square in which your partner performs your pre-determined favor on you. We laughed. We ate Chocolate. We had fun. Enjoy!

Love the quality of the older Sirius Tuners. They are stronger

I purchased this Audiovox SIRPNP1 Sirius Radio Tuner here on Amazon. I couldn't be more pleased. I have other Audiovox Tuners that have preformed great and still look and work just like the day I first purchased them. I have been listening to Sirius Satellite Radio since it first started some years back. I have been pleased ever since.With this Model SIRPNP1 I use it in a Boom Box Radio that sits in my Sunroom. It works great and the display is clear and the Unit is easy to use. I own 2 of these models.One main reason I tend to like the older Sirius Tuners is because they tend to have more power. About 2 years ago the FCC place regulations on the amount of power thesetype of Units can have. The older ones are much stronger and pickup signals much better than newer versions.

Dv-84's vs. DV-64's

After owning the DV-84 towers and DV-64 towers for over a year I'd like to say that the 64 is the way to go. I've been told that 8" drivers are too big to be accurate and I can now hear it. At first I liked the 84's because of the extra bass but last week I put the 64's side by side with the 84's again and realized the 64's have a much cleaner mid range. And besides, they're cheaper. So, don't buy the 84's because you think they're going to sound better with bigger speakers. They don't.

Excellent Excellent Speakers

I've owned Klipsch, B&W and KEF speakers. My friend has PSB speakers, $700 for the pair . These speakers equal all of those or do better. I only paid $130 ea. for these but they are worth all of the retail price of $375 ea.The thing you have to know about speakers is placement in the room is VERY VERY VERY important. You cannot just slap them on the floor and leave them there. Read the manual on these speakers. They suggest you put them 2-3 feet AWAY from the wall and it does make a difference. These are not a pair of speakers for a little room.The presence and sound stage on these speakers is just breath taking. If you close your eyes you can see the muscians playing their instruments and the depth of sound is just amazing. I had my friend come over and do a blind sound test. He asked me after the first song I played if I was sure I didn't have a center channel speaker on because the music sounds like it's coming right in front of you.I will give this information about the room I'm playing them in (the room makeup makes a HUGE diffence in how speakers sound). The living room is about 20 X 30 with tile floors, an area rug, and large vaulted ceilings (which really add to the sound stage). I have large leather furniture, paintings on the walls, and lots of large plants. I can't stress enough how much room compistion and placement of speakers effect the sound.On any pair of speakers you get, make sure you try them in lots of different positions: point them up, point them in, point them out, and pull them away from the wall varying lengths. Hard flooring and uneven wall surfaces (meaning you have pictures or things hanging on the walls or plants in front of the walls) make a big difference in spreading the sound.If you have a subwoofer please please don't crank it up. When you read reviews and people sometimes list them as 'boomy' I wonder if they just have the subwoofer turned up too high. You shouldn't HEAR a sub as much as you should feel it. You shouldn't hear boom boom boom and not much else, you should feel a nice tight thump that extends sound. I always like to say that a sub drops the bass from your knees to your feet. Also location IS important in a sub and make sure you move it around too A sub being too close to the wall will also lend it to being 'boomy'. I know this review is long, but I hope these tips help you out in making your system sound better.

AMAZING SOUND FOR THE PRICE

I have a pair of these 84's as well as the 64's and love both of them. You'll be hard pressed to find a better speaker for the money esp. one with the clarity and imaging of these. Side by side the 84's and 64's are very similar and I can't decide which one I like more. You can't go wrong though for a pair of 64's for $240! I hear the crossover Ed Frias does is real popular, improving the warmth and clarity for pretty cheap. You can find out more about him in audio review websites.

Absolutely blow away. Precise tracking, skate, balance controls. Unwavering drive speed, extremely low rumble and is also a very well isolated unit.Fantastic for audiophile enthusiasts or archiving to digital. Highly recommended unit. Also beautiul to look at, a bonus.Oh, apparently you can DJ with this thing too...Mated with a low noise pre-amp, and audiophile quality needle/cartridge (not included) delivers amazing sound. Literally makes the need for replacing your LP's with new CD's unecessary unless heavy wear present.Very pleased and the 1210's available in black, 1200's in silver will match most home set-up schemes.Definetly to be considered a high-end unit.

a DJ turntable for hi-fi? yes! powerful, stable, weighty, easy to set up and use.i always wondered why my belt-drive turntables wouldn't spin with the cleaning brush applied to a record...the price to pay for better isloated/quieter system? cleaning a record on this table is not going to stop the platter and i was pleasantly surprised that the sound quality exceeded my thorens td-160 (which sounded better than my B&O, luxman, AR and entry-level rega).all of my previous turntables are eclipsed by the 1210, if you're on the fence (looking for a sub-$2K unit) go for it. if you're thinking of a USB 'table... :-P

Craftsmanship, Stability, Accuracy

TECHNICS have overturned the status quo in the turntable market. The craftsmanship of the MK5's are unmatched. I tested both the Numark TTX1's and Technics 1210 MK5's.The Numarks are great, I really cannot put them down. In fact I may get one of them for my son. However, not just relying on the Technics history or popularity, but on actual hands on testing and comparing to other decks, the Technics just feel so much better.The stability and strength of these decks when mixing, scratching, blending and beat juggling is simply superior. When rubbing the vinyl on the MK5's you can tell it is a premium product.

The best you'll find regardless of price!

F. Dick is not so popular in the United States because of its name. But the fact is, F. Dick knifes are used extensively in Germany by professionals in the butcher milieu; this brand of knifes is highly respected. However, I have found German professionals tend to use Dick's less expensive stamped knifes. They work and hold up just as well but are less costly overall. This particular set is the more expensive and coveted Forged variety. They are extremely well made and they remain sharp for long periods of heavy use. This set has exactly what most will really use. There is no need to pay hundreds more for a massive set of knifes, most of which will receive little, if any, usage. In my professional opinion, you will find no better knives at any price. If you've got the money, go with the forged set here. If you need to save, go with the stamped set.
