Don't Drown!

Everyone thinks they are great swimmers and don't need any sort of flotation device when they are snorkeling, but the ocean is a lot badder than you ever will be. So many things can go wrong even close to shore, it's stupid not to have some kind of backup to your mad skills. The vest is perfect. A natural buoyancy helps you get around easily and if things get dicey you can easily inflate the vest orally to possibly escape doom in the deep. It fits snugly and doesn't ride up.The storage pocket is small and hard to use. Can't think of a use for it anyway.Overall, does what it's supposed to do.

Very Nice Snorkel Vest

This snorkel vest is very effective and can be inflated or deflated as preferred. I particularly like the neoprene in the back. It provides protection from the sun and provides a little extra warmth. If I could add one thing it would be a crotch strap, the vest does ride up but can easily be pulled down and back into place.

Please improve this product

I am a marine electrician and have been using the tool backpacks since they've come out. The idea is great and there's room for most of my everyday hand tools but if I there was one thing I would change it would have to be the way the zippers and surrounding fabric is made. Over time once the bag breaks in the seems sag terribly and it puts so much strain on the zippers that they eventually begin to slip and seperate until you can't close them at all. Every one of my collegues owns one and will tell you the same thing. Once the zippers start missing, these backpacks are no longer dependable because you'll soon find tools missing that have fallen out. I understand this is good for CLC and Tool Pak because they'll sell more bags but when the inside of the bag still looks brand new I shouldn't be forced to repair or replace it due to a poor design on one very important part of the product. I'd love to see a better design in the future.

CLC Tool Backpack

This tool pack is perfect for technicians that need to have their hands free for climbing or whatever. It has many pockets and slots for nearly everything you'll need in the field, and if the slot isn't large enough, it's easy to cut out the stitching to customize it to fit you needs.

I work in theater and trade shows. I like the bag and what it can hold. I dont care for what it cannot hold. It's pockets are very shallow, even though there are over sixty of them. Unless all of your tools are 4" long the bag wont hold it too snugly.

Rock solid, padded divider customizable

This case is built incredibly tough. The padded divider is very customizable, and unlike the foam inserts, it can be modified over and over again depending on how you want the contents of the case to be arranged. I use mine for a DSLR, several lenses, and various audio and video accessories. I highly recommend.

I was ordering this pelican off the description they have:"This rugged Pelican case has everything you need to keep your valuable equipment safe and secure. Pelican cases in general are a great investment,suitable for most equipment delicate or not. Their sturdy construction make them suitable for heavy usage or rough handling depending on your use.the foam inserts are also a great addition to help customize the case for what it is to be used for. i find this case to great for my application (storing and transporting a bench top oscilloscope)great product!

Pelican Protector Cases are made with Copolymer Polypropylene, using an open cell core and solid wall construction, which is stronger and lighter that the completion. quality that will last a lifetime

hands down, the highest quality set of bags i've ever owned. a gift from my father, i would never have paid the price myself. that said, they are sweet. the leather is incredibly high quality, the stitching is tight, with no loose strings, every stress point is riveted. the pocket layout is intuitive, everything is where you think it should be.ok that was the rave. couple things i did, the black nylon handles, cut them right off and flame sealed the edge. no regret there. the handles get in the way of the tape pocket.neetsfoot oil. this leather out of the box is stiff. even with treatment, it will take a long break in period. my girl got a good giggle when i cooked dinner wearing them. i've now taken to keeping them wrapped around a five gallon bucket so it will take a shape. honestly, with no treatment, i think it would take years to break these bags in. i think it may take that long even with modest treatment (don't get carried away with neetsfoot or mink oil, and only use high quality natural oils, i only use kiwi ymmv) maybe running over them with a mack truck a few times will soften things up. anyone tries that get back to me, let me know how it went.lastly, the CLC 21110 Leather Suspenders are matching; same leather, color, hardware, etc. and are well worth the additional $40 (2013 price) comfort isn't the first word you think of when trying on a rig. but this combination is comfortable, fully loaded with tools and nails, it really helps to put some of the weight on your shoulders and allows you to loosen the belt for a little breathing room.as i said, i wouldn't have bought these for myself. but they are without a doubt, the nicest bags i've ever owned. i fully expect this will be the last rig i will ever use.

Pelican cases are awesome no question about that. The reason I am giving it 1 star is because I ordered it with the padded divider for my camera and it never came. I am deploying n need to product my camera from damage. what good is it without my divider.

Tough Case

This is my third Pelican case. This case works well with two full size SLR cameras. I purchased the velcro inserts the last time and it worked better than the foam insert. I have droped these cases several times and have never had the items inside damaged.

Like a portable safe

I bought this for my trip to Europe. I had just gotten a new DSLR and 3 lenses for Christmas and was going to Europe a few months later. I wasn't about to put my camera in a suitcase and hope for the best from the airlines. This case was small enough to be considered carry on so I went for it. I got the case that has the velcro dividers so that I could divide up the case according to the equipment I had. I think that's a little extra than the cutout foam, but I think it is well worth the upgrade. Instead of cutting out the foam and being stuck with that if equipment changes, I can change the configuration at any time to match my needs. This thing was like a safe. I took it on planes, trains, buses and never once worried about my camera or my lenses. I even used it to hold some of my documents and my chargers. Great product, great price. If you're at all concerned about protecting your photography investment while traveling, this is the case for you.
