Portable Turntable

I bought this for my son as a Christmas gift. He says that it works great. He can plug it on or use D batteries. He takes it with him when shopping for records or vinyl(as he calls them)! Wow, who knew that I should have saved all those LP's from the 70's. He takes it and listens to the records before he purchases them. I'm not sure if he's trying to figure out if they have scratches on them or if he likes them! He's happy with it so i'm happy with my purchase.

If you love vinyl you must have this Vestax!You can go trought flea market or thrift store with it and check the vinyl.Plugged to an HiFi (i do with a Marantz) it sound good!

AC-DC Battery 3 Speed Portable With Audio Output And Pitch Control

A nearly perfect portable that could have had a second internal speaker (stereo) like the Crosley portables, and a lid that stayed attached when opened. Beware of the switch on the outside of the case, which could easily be bumped into the on position when moving, thus draining the batteries. The platter slips for a second under the record (poor traction) when started, and there is no room inside to store the AC adapter. Though it's a bit quiet at full volume, it does what it was designed to, and looks great.

Fit like a glove

My boyfriend had a set of track from years ago and this year it just didn't quite make the ring around the tree. We ordered two more curved pieces to finish out the track and they fit perfectly! The company was amazing to work with...especially since it was right around Christmas time.

Hassle free reverse loop

This accessory allows creation of a reverse loop track (where the train emerges from the loop going in the opposite direction) very simply without extra wiring. Possibly the only down side is that trains can only travel in one direction. I.e., they can't be backed up while on the loop.

Excellent equipment for the price!

These White Labels are grrrrreat. I knew I wanted them based on reviews and feedback from friends that are professional DJ's. I did a lot of comparison shopping before buying and Amazon definitely had the best price by a landslide. I saved around $50 a cartridge and the performance has been beautiful.

perfect -- BUT

i purchased two of these. and the sound quality is amazing or insane. (according to already-owners who suggested it). i purchased this one specifically because it has a low vinyl wear, meaning your record vinyls will last longer. This is an spherical stylus. There are two types of stylus, go find out the other one, the other one is the pointy one that wears your vinyls quicker but the sound quality is better, you should leave those for the clubs, for home practicing, these are perfect. The two stylus i received from amazon were advertised as new, now the stylus may have been new but both of the cartridge were USED & ABUSED. "how do you know?" well because the screw has been stripped!!!!!!! so now i'm unable to unscrew the cartridge. therefore, i can't push the stylus forward or back.

The answer to all turntablist..

I was hesitant on the beginning to purchase this cartridge. But due to my friend's strong recommendation, I closed my eyes to have them added and checked out on my cart.. Till I received them, it was a very strong and clear experience to have the vinyl sound in great and loud quality!!! A must for all vinyl collectors.. Easy to install, no hard time, just plug it in.. voila!!! Sound will never be an experience... Thank you Shure for this product...!
