Love this flashlight but major design flaw

I love this flashlight. It is lightweight because of its rechargeable battery. Also the battery itself can hold a decent charge. I use it every night for about 15-20 minutes and i can go 3 or 4 days before it needs charging. The major flaw about this item is that it comes only with a car charger. The car charger is like a dock for the flashlight meaning that for it to charge the flashlight needs to hang from the dock. On the back of the dock are two places for the dock to hang from nails or screws, which is stupid because i dont know anyone who would hammer nails into their car. So it like it was designed for inside the house but for your car. ( An idiot designed it) Anyway what i did was i bought the adapter to plug it into a regular household outlet for a few dollars and that works fine.

Simple....It Works

The title says it all. This not so miniature but not the 8 D-cell mag light size either LED flashlight just works. It keeps a charge for a long time while providing bright white light in the very harsh conditions that a firefighter can face. While not designed specifically for the firefighting role, it is easy to carry in a pocket is easy to use in gloves, is bright and can stand up to abuse. Its a Streamlight so it is expensive but you get what you pay for and this light has lived longer and given much better service than any of a number of cheaper flashlights I have had. So in looking at the long term this light has probably been cheaper in the long run as it has had a service life much longer than that of any of its cheaper competitors. Highly recommended.

Just bought this one to replace my original bought in 1981!!!! The original probably could have been fixed, but after carrying it at work for the last 28 years and being used on a daily basis, I think I got my moneys worth out of it. Highly recommend this flashlight, well worth the money!

Back when I was a kid, if you had a Swiss Army Knife & a Maglite, you were on top of the world. I'm all grown up now. That Swiss Army Knife has taken a back seat to Leatherman Tool, Gerber Multi-Plier, and SOG Power Lock.And when my life depends on my ability to light up the night, I rely on my Streamlight. I carry two in my gear bag. One is modified with an SL-35X lamp. For The Average Joe, you won't appreciate the difference. But if you're chasing an armed suspect in the dark of night, the upgrade from 30,000 to 40,000 candlepower makes all the difference in the world. Even though the old fashioned halogen lamps tend to give a yellow light, they still throw a farther beam. This one I keep under the front seat and use for night shifts. The other is modified with a Terralux TLE-100S. 200 lumens of bright, white light. Perfect for close quarters, building searches, and vehicle searches. I have had mags, sure fire and stream lights my whole career in law enforcement and found the best deal on this poly stinger for my 16 year olds truck. You never ever need to be without a good flashlight any where u go.

Great, well designed product

Excellent product. Way beyond the quality and power of products found for similar purposes in the chain stores. I am using this for home safety and for occasional camping purposes. With its included automobile and AC rechargers, this lamp fits all my household and sporting needs. The question, however, must be asked: do you need such a high end product for my purposes? My decision was yes. Yours may differ.

I had no problem with the product or the seller. Shipped on time and in good condition! Unfortunately it was the wrong part. Might have been a misunderstanding in reading the product specs, but this will not work in a Cisco 2109 - takes HWIC instead of WIC...
