Seiko watch is great!!!

I replaced a three year old Pulsar watch with this new Seiko. The Pulsar watch was good looking but it had started stopping for no reason. I replaced the battery but it still stopped sporadically. This new Seiko watch runs great and looks great. I am very pleased with it. I have a dress watch by Seiko that has worked well for 11 years and still runs just fine which is why I went back to Seiko for my everyday watch.

An intimidating bobblehead.

I've been on a bobblehead kick recently [thanks to Fallout 3], and while I don't like a lot of their work on action figures, NECA has a lot of very cool bobbleheads. When I saw that Stay Puft got immortalized in bobble-form, I hunted one down right away. This is probably my favorite one I own so far, and I can see why this guy's going for 2 or 3 times the original price. But there's one thing that keeps it from getting 5 stars, and it's the usual problem I have with NECA.Mr. Stay Puft stands at about 8" tall and is made of the standard resin that most bobbleheads by NECA are. The sculpt is really good, and he's got an evil little face here, which is a nice change from the usual happy expression (though I would've been fine with that one too). He's molded in a walking pose, crushing a few cars on the base. It's a cool stand, and this is what I like to see rather than the basic empty bases that most other companies do. Stay Puft even has a real ribbon on his hat, but the one on his sailor...napkin...thing is part of the mold. He isn't necessarily a bobblehead since his head doesn't rock, but instead his body does, while his legs stay put. He works best rocking from side to side, and goes for a while before coming to a halt. 'really cool to see one of these go for so long!So what's the problem if it looks so good? The paint. As soon as I got mine out of the box, I thought that some fan with no paint experience had done the work. NECA usually ends up using too much paint on their figures, killing the detail in the sculpts, but here, there were no clean lines. Blue paint from the sailor thing went into Stay Puft's chest, white paint from his head was in the bottom of his hat, etc. It's pretty ugly. That's one thing against me though for waiting on buying this and getting it offline instead of getting one in a store when it came out, when I could've inspected them on the shelf before buying. But from what I've seen, a lot of these guys have bad paint- even the one in the customer images.One last thing I need to mention is that the spring and post inside Stay Puft's body that causes him to bobble, is very long, and there's a chance of him breaking at the post because of this. Just be careful that you don't rock him too hard, and that you hold him by the base with one hand and support the back or front with the other when you're moving him off a shelf because he could probably break if you tilt him in one direction for more than a few seconds.Even with the poorly applied paint, this is a great bobblehead for any collector or Ghostbusters fan. And as long as you look around for a good price, you should be happy with the purchase. Now if only they made a Janine bobblehead too...

Probably my favorite bobblehead so far.

While I loved the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man bobblehead, as soon as I got Slimer in the mail, he took the top spot in my collection. I can't tell if it was the fact that I got a perfect one, or just how great it was overall, but either way, this is one bobblehead collectors shouldn't miss out on. Trust me, if you're a fan of bobbleheads or just Ghostbusters in general, this is one of the better collectibles out there.First up, the sculpt- Slimer looks exactly as he does in the stock picture. They didn't screw up the design and tweak things for the production run, and he looks just like he does in the movie. Every wrinkle, roll of flab and wart on his caboose is here. There are tons of little bumps all over him too, so it's not just a standard smooth skinned sculpt. The expression on his face is great and I love the food on the base, which fits in with his appearance in the movie. This bobblehead actually looks better than any other Slimer figure/collectible I've seen, even the more recent figures that've come out in the last couple of years. The paint on mine, believe it or not, was perfect too. Where the Stay Puft one had messes of white and blue paint here and there, Slimer doesn't have a single problem. I was really impressed by how well the colors were on him, with some different shades of green on the body to help with texture.The bobble feature on him is great, and he rocks around on the peg a lot before stopping. He isn't positioned on it too high or too low, and the spring is very sturdy. I hate to knock on the Stay Puft again here, but that one was in big danger of breaking, but Slimer won't have any problems.Yeah, I know I'm talking about this like it's some kind of fine art piece, but I feel like this bobblehead should be getting more attention. They could've easily charged double for this guy, and people would've probably still bought it, but running the price of your standard Head Knocker, Slimer is an absolute steal, and I'd recommend getting him before Stay Puft if you have a choice between the two and can only get one at the moment. He's that good.

Very good for the price - with some drawbacks

I had used a friend's Bostitch coil nailler several times in the past. It was finally time to buy one of my own. I have always been a fan of Porter-Cable tools. The fantastic price offered by Amazon on this refurb was too much to resist.I unboxed my nailer to find it in almost new condition; one slight scuff mark. i was suprised to find it much smaller and lighter than the Bostitch I had used before. I had ordered a RN175AR but received a RN175A. I have no idea of the difference between these 2 models.Part 1A couple of weeks later I was ready to put it to the test.Location - Luling, Louisiana - 25 miles from New OrleansI had a circa 1960, 11 square roof that had been redecked with 1/2 plywood over 1 x 10 planks.In keeping with the 30 year, architectural, shingle manufacturers specifications ( driven nails must extend through decking) I chose to use a 1 1/2 inch nail.Compressor PSI set to 100 lbs.Six nails into the job an obvious issue became apparent. Some of the nails had not been driven completely - a few whacks with a hammer and all was ship shape. Time to look for the depth adjustment. Whereas I had recieved a safety brochure but not an operation manual - I was left to clever out the depth adjustment mechanism. ( pretty obvious - as was the operation of switching between single nail and multiple nail settings.)With the depth adjustment set to maximum I made another test. Same problem.So I increased the compressor pressure to 125 lbs - Same problem.Then 130 lbs ( the stated maximum for safe operation of the the tool.) - Same problem.For every 10 nails attempted- 1 or 2 needed to be massaged with a hammer. Time consuming but assuredly better than hand nailing.On that job a fellow worker was using his Rigid coil nailer. Outside of a couple of minor differences - the Porter Cable and Ridgid nailers appeared to be quite alike.Was he having the same problem? Yes.So I was able to conclude that this particular application exceeded the abilities of both of these nailers.There was a section of roof that contained all new wood. In that area both guns worked flawlessly.Part 2Several weeks later a friend, who has far more roofing experience than I, asked to borrow the Porter- cable coil nailer. He had loaned his Bostitch RN145 out and could not wait for it to be returned.Apprised of my experience - he thought of a possible solution. He needed to change the hose nipple at the rear of the gun from 1/4" to 3/8" to configure with his equipment. It seemed to make sense that this may solve the problem.Unfortunately not.Similarly, he was able to nail without problems into all new wood and only found difficulties when nailing into time hardened subdecking.ConclusionPutting our experiences together we have conjectured that the porter-cable because it is light and small is a great choice for new construction. However, the extra weight and size of the Bostitch (bigger piston with more mass) for about the same price (refurb), is the better choice for rennovations.Caslo

Excellent nailer, but no case

I guess I missed the part where the factory-reconditioned nailer didn't come with the incredibly handy Porter-Cable case. For now, I'm storing it in the box it came in when it's not in use. For me it was worth the $50 or so I saved, but I wish I would have realized it before I bought it.The nailer itself was everythinig I expected with no signs of use or wear. It functions just like every other Porter-Cable nailer I have, which is to say that it has never jammed or gaven me any problems whatsoever.

One of My Favorite Chantelle Bras!

Back when I was 36DD (36E in French sizing), this was one of my favorite bras because it's practical and sexy. One advantage to this bra, if one is a larger size, is that it's molded, but it doesn't have any type of padding, so one doesn't have to look like a larger size than one already is. Recommended to anyone that wants shape without adding size, though if one is on the smaller side, since it would give good support, it would make one look larger than with an average bra. (Note that the bra is French sized, so the bra band is a lot shorter and the cups are larger/fuller than with average American bras.)

Truly an Excellent Bra!

This is an excellent bra. In addition to being sexy, it is also quite functional. It defines one's individual breast shape well and it offers maximum support. This particular bra comes in a pretty peach color and a beautiful black.Chantelle bras are made according to French standards. You get a somewhat larger cup and the band size is not as long. Still, it's an excellent bra.

Well, I finally bought a fabulous bra! I asked the clerk if there was one that would make me look a bit "perky" and this is what she brought. Once I had it on, I had her remove the tags, put my clothes back on and haven't looked back...only down...and my once again perky breasts. I really love this bra, can't you tell?
