Media Cabinet

I ordered this media cabinet for someone who had it assembled. Assembly was fairly easy and the cabinet is roomy enough to accommodate many VHS videotapes. The cherrywood lends an attractive look to a traditionally furnished room. Would highly recommend. Also, delivery was timely. Excellent merchandise and merchant!

WORTH A SECOND LOOK

If you have limited space and are seeking a media tower, take a look. If you like a closed unit and a clean simple design, take a look. This is a functional unit with a flair. The oak finish fit in well with other pieces in the room and to give it a more expensive look I changed the door handles to a brushed chrome to match my existing furniture. I would have liked more storage room, however, my other criteria had to take first place. Be forewarned this isn't easy to assemble. If you're a do-it-yourself person be prepared to spend about 3 hrs. If you're a handy person by trade, be prepared to spend about 3 hrs. At the end of the day when the tools were put back in their box, the dvds, cds and cassettes were neatly stored I stepped back, viewied the room and was very pleased I TOOK A SECOND LOOK.

Great product!

I expected a lesser quality and was pleasantly surprised. The tower was easy to assemble, easy directions. The backing is a lot thicker than most DIY furniture from a box. I thought the bottom portion had similar doors like the top for more case storage. I guess I didn't inspect the photo well enough to see where the hinges were. It still became a nice storage unit on the bottom, and we still have lots of room for more Blu-Ray cases in the top portion! I would buy another one.

Not for serious graphics

I am not a professional graphics artist and mostly draw for pleasure. But still I find that the Graphire series is NOT for drawing purpose. I usually use Corel Painter to do my work and that Graphire series does not support tilt sensing(also limited sensitivity level compared to Intuos Series) puts major limitation to your artistic expression.

If you are going to use your tablet for photo editing or quick simple writing board for presentation purpose go with the Graphire. But if you are going to be drawing Intuos is the choice. I hadn't realized how important tilt sensivity is before using Corel Painter.

Concerning the size, 4X5 will work for a lot of purposes. But then again, if you are into serious drawing I would recommend 6X8. I own 4X5 Graphire tablet and the small size does not allow me to drawing straight from the computer. So I usually have to go through scanning. Take note that the area of 6X8 is actually twice that of 4X5.

Works with WinGIMP perfectly!

Bought the Blue Graphire 3 from Amazon and it arrived in the mail yesterday. Set it up on a Windows XP machine today and started using it within five minutes of plugging it in. Even though XP recognizes it, I installed the driver that came on CD so that pressure sensitivity would be enabled.I've been using GIMP for Windows (open source program similar to PhotoShop - free to install and use ... google for the terms 'GIMP' and 'Windows', and make sure you download for free off SourceForge) for about six months now, but always used the mouse for photo touchups, which is tedious. Upon Wacom installation and firing up the GIMP, GIMP 'saw' my Wacom pen, pressure sensitivity and all!I didn't know how big a deal pressure sensitivty is until I was able to use it in action. After about an hour of fooling around with pencil sketching with the Wacom, I decided to try a calligraphy brush and a softer pressure setting. The first couple of Chinese characters I brushed on the canvas were absolute magic. It's just amazing to watch. I spent half an hour writing the same four characters over and over (deleting what you've written on 'electronic paper' is sooo cool), in awe of how you can 'see' how the brush strokes start and end thanks to that magical pressure sensitivity.I'm not a hard core artist but did my fair share of comic doodling in high school, and the 4x5 size of the board seems fine by me. I don't drag my hand across the page when I write, I instead pick up my hand and move it to the new location. If you're a drag-your-hand kind of person, it's likely you'll care more.

my new graphire

i needed a tablet for the stuff i do in photoshop. i'm satisfied with its performance and have recommended it to several other people. it takes some getting used to if you've only used a mouse. it's very easy to install and i haven't had any crashes or other hangups. i haven't tried any of the bundled software yet.what kept me from giving it 5 stars?1. the pen SERIOUSLY needs some kind of grip. it's very smooth and it slides about in my hand so i have to keep adjusting it. it gets old fast. i'll figure out something on my own for that.2. i doubt that it would kill wacom to include a replacement nib or 2 with the tablet - i had an aiptek tablet that i hated but at least they included nibs and extra batteries.3. wacom has no intention of updating the tablet drivers for xp sp2. i guess they'll save that for the new and improved graphire.

Looks pretty nice, quality is not great

I recently received this item. My review is essentially that it looks fairly nice and doesn't take up that much space, but the quality isn't great. My unit is a little lopsided and tilts to the side a but, basically leaning a little. There isn't enough weight on the bottom to give it any sturdiness.The assembely wasn't too bad, took me 2 hours but probably can be done in an hour.Overall, I am not completely dissapointed in my purchase, but would probably not purchase it again knowing what I know now.

We are pleased with the wine rack. My wife put it together in less than an hour. The wood is real -- not fiberboard. You will find it surprisingly heavy even though it isn't very big.On the top, we've hung six engraved glasses, with a small, round engraved lead vase on the shelf. In the wine slots, we've alternated bottles with memory items (small statuettes and figurines, a toy car and other knick-knacks). In the drawer, we've put wine supplies (openers and such).Not all do-it-yourself furniture is this attractive, not at this price. As a value, you can't go wrong, and as a practical, yet sophisticated home piece, this is spot-on.It looks better than expected. We chose it online, and, as with any furniture item bought online, we wondered about reality. Reality? Excellent

The trick to assembly is not to tighten everything until you get everything into position .. then you tighten the screws.It took a while, but then I realized all the parts are crafted specifically to fit one another. They are not made assembly line with sloppy fits. So they go together very snuggly if you do it right .. and nothing leans.The cabinet fits right into the spot where I wanted it to go, and it looks good. I smiled when I put it into place and slid the wine bottles in ... and I make my own wine ... can't stand the stuff they sell and call wine these days.This product is exceptional for the price. But it does take a little patience to get it together .. and then it's very worth it.

About as close as you can get to a custom top.Negatives1. The velcro strips did not adhere to the frame. I had to use an adhesive to stick the velcro to the cart. This could be because of the cold weather and cold metal and plastic.2. On the club car there is an area towards the bottom of the windshield that is not covered, which lets in cold air.

Upgrading? Worth Every Penny

Since this is a $400 product and no reviews, I figured I'd write a fairly in depth response based on my experience:These are great speakers. They sound fantastic. Great imaging, frequency response, and clean. People nowdays are primarily looking for spl systems and although these are an sq product, they will keep up with the beastliest of subs. It is always worth the price difference to get the components over the coaxials too.The one drawback is finding a way to conveniently mount the crossovers and tweeters. The crossovers are adjustable as well, which is awesome. DON'T buy these and try to run them off the deck though. These need an amplifier and run optimally between 60 and 80 rms. They're rated at 70 but I have them off an older premier at 75 watts with the gain at about 3/4 and it's perfect.Note: If you purchase these from Crutchfield, don't use the foam baffles they recommend. I tried it and they worsen the sound quality substantially. My recommendation would be to get the stinger roadkill door kit, and a set of mdf adapters from elemental audio if you have stock 5x7 holes, and use them free air. The voice coil structure on these is different than your average speaker, and you'll see this when you get them. It allows for more excursion and amazing free air frequency response.Hope this helps if you're seriously considering purchasing these.

As good as you can get.

These are literally the best 2-way component speakers money can buy for your car--practically speaking. Before you drop the $500 on these, make sure your car is ready for them. You've got to make sure your car is free of as much panel resonance as possible, your car is quiet, and you've got a good location. These won't sound good if you just drop them in a factory hole. I've got custom woofer panels about mid-door and the tweeters mounted about three inches away at the same altitude. Focal tweeters generally sound good mid-to-upper-door and facing each-other, not at your ears. Every car is different, though. Also make sure you've got a good amp and head unit--preferable with time-correction. Now I'll talk about the speakers. Timbre is as good as I've heard. The tweeter wave-guide and cross-over attenuation make adjustments very precise, and the mid-range boost helps, too. These speakers can play low, too, and match up well with my 10" JL W3. Imaging is haunting, with the proper install, and sound stage is well defined. If you've taken your current speakers as far as they can go, upgrade to these! Don't expect these to sound better than your Infinity components without first preparing your vehicle for them. You've got to have a treated car to appreciate what these speakers bring to the table.

Great value for an awesome pair

I'm pretty sure these are the (circa) 2006 version of the the newer KR model. I haven't heard the successor of these, but these sound perfectly fine to my ears, and they're a couple hundred bucks cheaper here. WoofersEtc were great to deal with as well.I enjoy a variety of rock, jazz, folk, and so on. Some harder stuff, some mellow stuff, some classical/romantic/20th century 'classical, some electronic stuff. Mostly lossless-sourced stuff. Studio stuff, live (soundboard and audience-captured) stuff. All sounds great. I powered these with a Focal Solid 4 amp, and they sound amazing in my little Hyundai. As the other reviewer stated, they're "worth every penny".Jan '13 update: I see the price has jumped by $100. I would very much still pay $500 for these. Even with road noise and whatnot, I hear detail in my music that I never did before. They're so bleeping amazing. I've had friends say that my car has the best stereo they've heard, period. I do believe part of that stems from the fact that the majority of music is lossless (and 24 bit at times), but these puppies don't hold back. All frequencies seem to be well-represented.

This figure is massive...

Though I knew this was an 18" figure, I was still surprised at how massive it is-and heavy. I recently bought two, one to display and the other to sell somewhere down the line...yes, I'm a geek... Regardless, for collectors like me, this figure is definately worth the price. The detail is immaculate down to the actual bullets in Hellboy's "Good Samaritan." I love how the figure is also wearing stitched clothing which gives it a more textured appearance. The gun is a little hard to squeeze into Hellboy's hand, but there is a holster on his belt that serves as a temporary sanctuary. The tail is a bendy, so you don't have to worry about it getting in the way as you pose it on your bookshelf. Speaking of posing, the figure can be easily placed in an upright position without it falling over. The one gripe I have is the packaging. It took me ten minutes to untie all the twisties which was a royal pain. All in all, you don't have to be a Hellboy fan to appreciate the artistry of this figure.

ok, this figure could be in the toy catagory, but I think it is more in line as a figure to be looked at and not played with, even through it is very durable. The detail on the face, clothing, gun is fantastic! It was well worth the price, wish it had the large "Baby" gun, but other than that it is fantastic.

Had a pair of these, hooked to a few different amps in the 9 yrs ive had them, they sound great, and still work great after 9 yrs, on the down side, I replaced the pair with a single boss ar12d, using the same 2000watt 4 channel amp, and the one speaker blows them away

Good net for the money

As the title states it really is a good net for the money. Cast netting is risky as every throw is one throw closer to needing a new net... i.e. trees/rocks/snags etc that always seem to find cast nets. With that said this net opens well and sinks fast. I use this as my all purpose net on the river and do not worry about tearing it up or losing it. Gave 4 stars as I have much more expensive nets that only see deep lake waters for winter shad so I have thrown higher end nets to compare to these.

Good but not lucky

The net is very fine for larger baitfish. However this particular net was unlucky and fell pry to an oyster bottom. I want a lucky net!TL;drA good if fragile net. Will buy another.

These things hit!

I replaced my aging 10" Fosgate sub with 2 of these, and the sound is that much better. After figuring out the wiring for dual voice coil (the manual gives you about 20 different configurations) and doing some tweaking, these sound fantastic!Whether I'm just filling out the sound in my car, wanting the subs to be almost invisible, or pounding Hip-Hop Nation, these subs really deliver for the price!

Audiobahn 10" Sub - Crazy good product

When Amazon asked me to rate this purchase I was a little puzzeled? This was my first ever Amazon purchase and it was over 5 years ago! Well, if you're still selling it, I'll give it a great review! I love this sub! It's been in two vehicles now and is still thumpin' my trunk and I still have room in my trunk for well, trunk stuff! Buy one, you won't be disappointed! Hope it's still about $50.00.

these are very good speakers . when there put in the write box there sure thump like you hade 15 in your car . they well run all day long at 300 rms .
