The lightbox is constructed very well and is just the right size for my studio needs (I'm an artist, but not a photographer). Good quality for the money.

4Fun for Kids
By Dyah Astri
I ordered these items for my Saturday school's outdoor activity. Previously, I did not think that they are made from plastic sack, but it is ok anyway. They are strong enough. I receive the packet in a good condition, but they have two double color: green (one sack has upside down printed number). This sack is good for kids (not too tall kids)

Product Description

ODYSSEY Batteries Powersports Battery features a rugged construction, built to take the constant pounding that comes with the territory, whether that territory is on land, sea, or snow. The ODYSSEY battery can handle it. Packed tightly with pure lead plates, the non-spillable AGM design ODYSSEY battery protects against the shock and vibration that can quickly destroy other batteries. And the pure lead plates mean more power—twice the overall power and three times the life of conventional batteries—up to 400 cycles at 80 percentage depth of discharge. The ODYSSEY battery is the ideal choice for a complete range of powersports applications: motorcycles, ATVs, personal watercraft, snowmobiles, ultralight aircraft and Gyrocopter aircraft. Its construction consists of pure virgin lead plates for maximum surface area and optimized recycling, AGM (absorbed glass mat) design that eliminates acid spills, high conductivity, corrosion-resistant tin-plated brass terminals, high integrity terminal seal, a sealed design resulting in gases recycled internally during operation or charging, a safety relief valve per cell and robust intercell connections to prevent vibration damage. ODYSSEY batteries beat spiral-wound. Compared to spiral-wound batteries of equal size, ODYSSEY batteries pack 15 percentage more plate surface area into the case. Avoiding the dead space between cylinders in six-pack designs means ODYSSEY batteries deliver more power and 40 percentage more reserve capacity.

5Great Waver Runner Battery
By Terry Craig Graber
This is my second Odyssey Battery and the first one is still working fine. I use these in a pair of Yamaha WaveRunners. One of the best features on this battery is its ability to hold a charge. Come winter, I just disconnect the battery and leave it in the WaveRunner and it is ready to go in the spring; the cold does not bother it at all.

5i am using these to store solar/wind generated electricity.
By Mark R. Hayes
these batteries do not generate gasses dangerous especially due to the equipment that must be nearby when you generate solar/wind electricity. this co. ships fast and refunds are not a problem. their prices are the best and their rating is almost always 5 star. 'nough fer me.

5Great for more than just waverunners!
By M. Thompson
heheh, I'm going to be the outlier here - believe it or not I use this in my car! :) I think this really shows the power and versatility of this battery. I modified the back of my car to open up to allow for easier working on the engine, but this required me to tilt the trunk 90 degrees - the original battery was a normal battery, so this would translate to spilling it's contents all over everything, which is generally what you don't want to do. So I searched around and looked for what my options were in terms of a sealed battery that could still put out enough amps to turn over my car more than a few times and not leave me stranded in some parking lot. A couple other Lotus owners also identified this battery (which they used for weight reasons), and I switch to it about two years ago - without a single issues. Now I don't recommend this for everyone (or really anyone), because there are quite a few caveats - such as I had to put a battery quick-disconnect on it because the parasitic load from the alarm would drain it dead in about a week. But I think the fact that I can use the battery and have it perform so well in an environment it most likely was not intended to be in speaks volumes of its quality.

4Good for vocals only!
By David L. Vasser
The first rule of microphones is that, "No one microphone is perfect for every purpose." Rule two is, "Experiment with different mics in different applications to find your signature sound." I've used Shure SM58's along with their ancestors and relatives back to 1968. I primarily used them for broadcasting and recording spoken word content but I have used (and still do use) them for singing some back up vocals. The SM58 does one thing well and that is vocal performance when used very close to the mouth for public address use. Some people, me included, actually sound better and more comfortable in a live performance setting when using another mic, the Shure SM-57. The SM-58 is a very good vocal mic and for some people probably the best choice. For example, anyone who can not resist putting the mic right up against their lips while singing will probably want the SM-58. People with softer or weaker voices will want the SM-58.The SM-58 is highly directional and has a noticeable yet manageable proximity effect (which means the bass increases the closer you get.) This mic does not pick up well from much over 8 inches away. The reason so many singers think you are supposed to shove microphones practically inside your mouth is because the ball type Shure vocal mics require you to get them very close or they don't sound right. On the other hand, the SM-57 sounds best several inches away from the user's mouth and works fine up to 12 inches away. While the SM-58 is certainly the number one professional PA vocal mic, there are precious few other uses for it because it has a colored sound with a prominent frequency response boost in the upper midrange plus a sound source has to be very close before it is picked up clearly. It works ok for conga drums and the like, but the SM-58 is about the last thing you'd want to use to mic a sax or guitar. Personally these mics are not the best for my mic technique or the basic nature my voice, but for some people they sound great. The live vocal mic that works best for me is the Shure SM-57 with a windscreen. However for other people the SM-58 works better. It depends on your voice and what you want the mic to do. If you have a very deep voice, the SM-58 might be the second best choice after the SM-57 which has a better low frequency response. One certain advantage of the SM-58 is the excellent gain before feedback capability. This mic can be turned up louder than almost any other mic without that annoying PA squeal. Another advantage of the SM-58 is that it is still available (at a slight extra cost) with a built-in on/off switch. The SM-58's ball shaped grills are very sturdy and even if you should dent one you can get a replacement which screws right on for about ten dollars. I've seen SM-58's dented, rusty, dusty, smoked up, spit into, with pieces missing and slammed into a hardwood stage with the full weight of a boom stand adding mass to the fall and yet I've never seen but one stop working and that malfunction was due to an on/off switch that got dirt in it.All the pro-line Shure mics are top quality. The pro line Shures also hold their value well. If you buy one and decide you don't like it, you can get about what you paid for it on eBay. I would compare as many mics as possible before buying one. Senneheiser's EVOLUTION mics sound really good too and are worth a look. The SM-58 will be the number one on-stage vocal mic for the foreseeable future because most people follow the crowd instead of actually trying out different mics and picking the one that works best for their particular voice. These things are so durable that even if they stopped making them today they'd still be around for another 20 years at least.

4A rehearsal workhorse
By Aaron Rubenson
This is an excellent, general purpose microphone at a reasonable price. I'm a classically trained vocalist, and I use the SM58 for rehearsal and "scratch" recordings. It delivers clear, true, and warm sound under all standard conditions and requires essentially no fine tuning or signal processing. I still prefer the crisp detail of a condenser microphone for formal demo recordings (my favorite is the Studio Projects C1), but it's hard to beat the simplicity and reliability of the SM58 for everyday use.

5SM58 - buy a few for live use
By Justin "pa2hire.co.uk"
The Shure SM58 is one of the most recognisable microphones in the world - and for good reason. It is the main stay of many a hire companies microphone hire stock, including mine (pa2hire.co.uk). Practically unbreakable, and if you do manage to drop it from a high stage / skyscraper, you can also buy a replacement pop shield. Very suited to rock, or other musical styles that need powerful vocals. Make sure your singers lips are touching the pop shield to get the best results, though, unless they have very good mic technique. The proximity effect (increase in bass when you sing or talk close to the mic) makes this important. If the singer is a foot away from an SM58, the chances are they will sound thin, and you will also have gain before feedback issues....Sonically the response has a nice presence peak in the upper mid range, but the top end rolls off quickly after that. Opinion is split about whether that is a good or a bad thing - it helps keep a lid on feedback, but it doesnt sound as hi-fi as some other mics. I have had some singers complain that their vocal top end is not quite right - sometimes asking for more top end. I guess they are used to the sound of expensive condenser mics on their recordings. My solution is normally to give them another mic, like a Beta 58, or Beta 87a maybe, rather than use EQ. If you A/B test an SM58 verses these mics it will always lose. But it can still be a better mic in some cases, such as when you are looking for a cardioid rather than hyper-cardioid response (the SM58 has a cardioid response, which means it has a wider pickup pattern at the front). But most vocalists will be more than happy with the sound the SM58 gives. The SM58 also does a pretty good job on drums (not really bass drum), and other loud things like guitar cabs. It uses the same capsule as the SM57, one of the best mics for guitar cabs.In conclusion, yes there are a lot of mics that sound better, and some of these are quite a bit cheaper - but ask yourself the question are they as durable as an SM58, and if you are a professional, will your clients want to use a mic they have never heard of?Take care,Justin Millerpa2hire.co.uk

5Why I chose the SB-800 over the SB-600
By Gadgester
I won't repeat the wealth of information the other kind reviewers have already given. I'll just focus on why I decided to cough up the extra $100 to get the SB-800 instead of the less powerful SB-600.Compared to the SB-600, the SB-800 has the following extra features:1) Much more powerful, as reflected in the GN.2) Slightly faster recycle time with the standard four AA batteries. It also comes with a battery holder that holds a fifth battery which cuts down recycle time by 1/3 to 1/2.3) The SB-800 has non-TTL auto and auto aperture modes. (More on this later.)4) In wireless remote mode, the SB-800 can act both as the master and slave, whereas the 600 can only be a slave.5) It comes with a useful diffusion dome, which won't even fit on the SB-600.6) The SB-800 package also includes two colored gel filters.7) The SB-800 can do repeating flash (in the same exposure), for a strobe effect.Basically, both the 600 and 800 support Nikon's latest flash technologies, i-TTL (supported by the D70 and D2H only) and CLS (creative lighting system), in addition to all the TTL (through the lens) flash modes Nikon introduced in the past. The 600 is really a prosumer-level flash that's either TTL or manual, whereas the 800 is pure pro-grade with a lot of modes and options. The manual, evidently written by a Japanese manual writer, attests to its sophistication; understanding the manual will really require a Ph.D. in yoga so you don't stress yourself out.The 800's auto modes are what won me over in the end. The auto modes can set the flash output automatically on Nikon bodies that do not support any TTL (through the lens) mode. On those bodies, with the 600 you'd have to resort to manual, which is simply a pain in the butt, not to mention prone to error. The two non-TTL auto modes on the 800 are auto aperture and auto. You'll need to study the manual very carefully to figure out the difference; I still haven't, but I'm already enjoying the auto aperture mode. The availability of auto modes also means the 800 can be used on a wide range of Nikon bodies than the simpler 600.If you are deciding between the 600 and the 800 like I was, ask yourself the following questions:1) Do you have an extra $100-$150 to spend? If yes, the 800.2) Do you plan to use the external flash a lot? If yes, the 800.3) Do you have Nikon bodies (usually older manual ones) that do not support TTL (you can find out in the camera's user's guide)? If yes, the 800.4) Do you plan to do a lot of wireless flash photography and take full advantage of Nikon's Creative Lighting System? If yes, the 800.5) If you want to get a diffusion dome that fits the flash, get the 800.In the end, I think the SB-800 is a better long-term investment than the SB-600, despite the higher price. It's much more powerful and flexible, and even though it's an overkill for me right now, I imagine when my flash photography improves (and I'm trying very hard right now), it'll prove a very worthy investment.Feel free to drop me an e-mail at hotmail with any questions. BTW, if anyone knows of a good web forum that discusses how to use Nikon's flash modes and the CLS, please let us know. Thanks.

5Perfect flash for D100
By David Bock
I just recently bought this flash for my D100.My wife wanted me to take a bunch of photos of her grandmother's small antique objects - pieces of jade, little carvings on ivory, some vases, etc. I have never been happy with the D100's built-in flash, and my local camera shop suggested the SB-800 over several other Nikon models (after I told them I would also use it for photographing pets and some indoor photography while sightseeing). This flash is great. First of all, the color is natural... The photos I have been taking of jade, ivory, small glass objects, and even my pets (and my wife as a test subject) come out evenly exposed with no hot spots, especially when using the diffusion dome and pointing the flash up at the ceiling (when mounted on the camera, the flash can be turned, and tilted 90 degrees in about 10 degree increments).Second of all, it is FAST. It contains 4 AA batteries, with the option of adding a 5th in a small addition (so you can trade off between weight and recharge time). With all 5 batteries installed and fresh, it can keep pace with my camera's rate of 3 pictures a second for 5-6 flashes. After that, it needs less than a second to be ready to go again.Third of all, it makes using a flash brain-dead simple, At least attached to my D100 (and presumably the D70). It automatically adjusts itself based on the characteristics of my lens, the zoom, the distance to subject, backlighting, etc. I can still manually futz with settings if I want, but I don't have to to get a great shot. One accessory I would consider a 'must' for the flash is the 4 foot cable that lets you use it off-camera. Especially since my main purpose is to take photos of small objects, having side-lighting is crucial to bringing out the relief on things like carved jade. It doesn't come with the flash.

5Perfect Flash
By M. Wells
I bought this flash to use with my Nikon D70. I wanted a flash with plenty of power and flexibility, but smart enough to handle caluation of exposure when I just wanted to shoot. I was not disappointed. This flash works hand-in-glove with other elements of the Nikon system. When connected to the hot-shoe of my D70 the camera and flash instantly recognize each other. The default "TTL" mode (Through The Lens) gives consistantly well-exposed photos. If anything, the camera and flash tend to want to underexpose just a bit, but you can easily use the flash compensation to fix this. It appears that the Nikon folks are going for a more natural-light exposure, while I prefer a brighter picture. I usually set the flash to +2/3 and am always happy with the results. The SB-800 has many flash modes that can be used by the creative photographer for different situations. They include 2 TTL modes, auto-aperature mode, manual mode, and a repeating flash mode. The RPT mode lets you set the flash power and frequency in Hz and the flash repeatedly fires during the exposure. Great for experimentation. The flash head tilts to 90 degrees straight up, and swings completely around to 180 degrees - backwards. It has a red focus-assist lamp which works wonderfully. The SB-800 comes with a number of accessories that come at an additional price for many other flashes. An extra battery attachment is included, which decreases the flash recycle time. A flash diffuser dome is also included to give a softer lighting effect. Two light filters are included to match the flash to background lighting for more natural white balance settings. They even include a nice padded case. The Sb-800 takes 4 AA batteries, and you can use the optional battery case to add a fifth to decrease recycle time. The batteries last a long time - see the manual for the battery life that Nikon documents. I can go all day without recharging my 2300 ma AA's.This flash also has a number of wireless modes. When using the D70's internal flash as the "Commander" I can trigger the SB-800 and the camera and flash will communicate the exposure information back and forth with a series of brief flashes, then fire the exposure flash. It really works, and works well. The SB800 can also use a SU-4 remote mode, which will trigger the flash when it "sees" any other flash fire, so any camera could trigger it.This flash is not inexpensive, but it works wonders for the photographer who wants flexibility and good exposures. I now find myself wanting another one, to use in a wireless group and expand the flexibility. I recommend it without reservation.

5Love this fan!
By Winnie Snyder
I had originally purchased one for our condo at the shore. I was so pleased with it, that I ordered 3 more. My husband installed one of them in my living room. The other two will be installed at the condo after the restoration is completed. The fan is very rich looking and quiet.I would definitely recommend this fan.

5Excellent receiver!!
By sailboat
After reviewing many receivers, I decided to go with the LG LST-3510A receiver. I didn't buy it through Amazon, however, I did find some refurbished units on Ebay for half price (~$170). The picture quality is awesome. As mentioned in an earlier review, this unit upscales DVDs to 1080i. The native resolutions of DVD (not HD-DVD or Blueray) are 480p so with this unit, it looks awesome.I live in high rise condo in downtown Chicago and have no problems with reception at all. I even get some channels from Indiana occasionally. Plus another bonus for getting a refurbished unit is that they are region-free programmable. Do a search for vendors that will supply you with the region-free units as you can watch any DVD on the planet with these.

5A Flexible Device

I own 3 of these receivers. They are HDTV receivers, not DVD players. I know there is a DVD player bolted into it, but don't rely upon that. If you have the proper firmware and and if you have the proper inputs, and if you have the proper display device, the DVD output can be outstanding, but that is a few too many ifs. I have one hooked up to a Syntax 26" LCD TV over DHCP enabled DVI, and it looks great, but maybe you don't have all your ducks in a row for DVD playback.Over the Air HDTV reception is another story entirely. Filled with flexibility and performance. Things I like:1) Hook it up to an old CRT computer monitor using the RGB (VGA) connector, play around with the zoom level and you get a cheap little TV, which shows standard definition programming especially well.2) Hook it up to a widescreen computer monitor over DVI and get a great picture (may be a little vertically stretched).3) Plug it into a audio receiver via digital TOSLink. Don't have a free fiber optic input? Try digital Coax instead. Only have old school RCA stereo? Go that route instead.4) Far away from the broadcast towers? This box has good sensitivity.5) Want to share the antenna feed with another device? It's got an antenna pass through. I have one cabled to share the antenna with the TiVo upstairs, and one downstairs sharing with a PC capture card. No need for an extra splitter. If you have cable service, the QAM support for local network is good, but cumbersome as two networks might share the same frequency making it difficult to navigate. (For instance NBC might be on 84-1, and ABC might be on 84-2).The remote is a bit large and is missing such basic buttons as fast forward/fast reverse (if you do happen to use the DVD player). And there is no icon for the CW network (WB and UPN icons are still in there). In summary, if you can get one of these for a good price (less than $100 like I did), you end up with a very flexible over the air tuner with the potential for DVD playback and use with a digital cable system.

4Better than what you read
By William Morrison
I read the other reviews and thought I'd put something down from someone who is satisfied. The unit works great, LG has great quality, great reception, and a great picture. You save on cables and inputs because the DVD and Tuner are in the same box, which is a brilliant design concept. I never experienced ANY of the problems listed here by the reviewers before me (freeze up, delays, reception, etc), save one:The remote has two buttons that allow chapter skipping forward and reverse accordingly. These same buttons are used for fast forward/reverse and slo-mo stepping by holding the buttins down. LG would have gotten 5 stars instead of 4 had they sprung for two more buttons!

4Great sprayer, BUT...
By David J. Brickner
This is a great sprayer for what it was designed for. My only problem is that the carry strap pictured was NOT included.

4Highly Superior!
By The Praying Mantis
This installment of the Hip Hop Ejay series is amazing. It's real easy to use and you can create some amazing beats! It's also saved me a LOAD of money on getting producers to make my beats, as well as saved me money on studio time! If you're trying to branch out and make your own album and beats, this is a MUST have. I've been COMPLETELY satisfied with it. It's a great piece of production software, and it beats the hell out of the Magix Music maker series! There's a wide variety of sounds, loops, keys, guitars, drums, base, etc. The only reason I didn't give this review a perfect 5-star rating was because I wished they would've included more strings, and more elements for Latin-style rap rhythms. Other than that, I don't see anything wrong with it.

5best In The Series For Loops And Sounds So Far...
By Beat Maker
This ejay is better than the rest of em so far because the sounds in this one are good acual pianos an other instuments in the 6th one they are all tecno sounding and the bass and poly makers all sound like tecno the 4th one tho you cant make bass sounds an such but like i said better sounds for making beats that are dark and grim and some for making just good beats

3Good buy
By amznshopper
This is the best spreader I have ever purchased but also the most expensive. The pneumatic tires make the difference. All my other spreaders would come to a dead stop at every lump or bump with chance for spillage. I didn't have a problem with this one and the fertilizer comes out evenly where I don't have to move the gauge to 0 at the corners or when I made my turns. The fertilizer didn't get stuck at the bottom like other spreaders I have used in the past. I also liked the fact there was nothing to assemble, just took it out of the box and it was ready to go.

4High quality, works great, short handle though
By Chris Parrow
Everything about this spreader speaks quality, it is an Earthway after all. The only complaint I have is that the handle is pretty short. I feel like I have to adjust the way I walk behind it because of the handle. I don't really, just feel like I should because you are walking closer to it. But then I forget about it and just "spread".

This Earthway 2050P is the best spreader I have ever owned. It pushes really easy and has very even flow with any setting you desire, it is well made and looks to be very durable.
