My best juicer ever!

I have had 3 juicers in my life, electric, hand press, etc. Each requires tough arm muscles with strong wrist that can press and squeeze hard enough to get the juice out. After a while, since I am left-handed, I noticed my left arm got bigger than the other. But I don't want to give up juicing since it taste so good and healthy. So, I went shopping several weeks ago for a juicer that can do the work for me and make my life easier so I thought of commercial juicers instead, most of them range from 280 to 650, not to mention some that goes for thousands of dollars. And finally, I found the "Hamilton Beach Comm'l Juicer", had it for few days now and it produces one of the best and smoothest orange juice I ever had. This unit is quite big and heavy for my kitchen countertop but it looks very nice and it is so worth it. If you are willing to convert to a fastforward juicing at home for your family and guests, this item is perfect and has the lowest price of its quality by far. For your information, I slip my finger a few times while the thing is running so fast "ouch, ouch, ouch", but my fingers never bled, practice will make perfect juicing. Overall, I am very happy and satisfied with my new "Hamilton Beach Comm'l Juicer". Juicing all the way, everyday for the family!

Massive Powerful Citrus Juicer

Super-duper citrus juicer. It's very heavy and powerful. Nice looking with a stainless steel bowl. Gets every last drop of juice out. You really should find a permanent place for it because of the weight; it won't budge an inch. Flip the switch and you can juice a decent amount of fruit without having to stop because of the capacity of the bowl. Top quality construction. Easy to clean. Accommodates all sizes of citrus because of the interchangeable reamers. The amount of pulp in the juice will depend on the kind of fruit you are juicing. Pink grapefruit (my favorite) and Valencia (juice) oranges yielded excellent juice that wasn't overly pulpy. Navel oranges produced a very creamy and thicker juice; this is surely healthy, but not to everyone's taste. In any case, naval oranges may clog the juicer due to the copious pulp, so beware. Have two tall glasses handy to switch to catch the drops. It's not for everyone, but if you have the kitchen space, a fairly strong hand to grip the fruit on the fast spinning reamer, and the money, you won't be sorry.

A nice stand on a budget

For those on a budget, this is a fine stand. After an initial probelm with missing parts on the 1st stand I recieved, the customer support department immediately send me out a new one. VERY impressive. The stand is fine for the average shooter who doesn't want to set up a permanent range on their property.

This blender is able to make crushed iced drinks in seconds with no bits of ice or frozen friuts found in the drinks. It has toggle speed and on/off switches that are easy even for wet fingers to operate. Best purchase (for the price) I have made in a long time. I use it daily.

misleading description

The blender you see in the picture is not the actual one that you receive. The HBB908 is the correct name but the blender pictured is the HB04-0032. The 908 is made out of plastic as opposed to the one in the picture which is stainless steal as the description states. I have owned the blender in the picture for many years and was buying another one for my other house. I was very dissapointed to open the box and find the cheap plastic blender. I have tried contacting amazon but it is very difficult to reach them. Look at other online stores for a proper description of the HB908 as that is the actual one you will receive.

Owned for 10 years

After wearing out a couple of your typical dept store blenders, I wanted one that would last with daily use. My wife and I started a diet (body for life) which involved making multiple protein shakes every day. I stayed on the diet for a number of years and we still have this blender and it still works just as well as when we bought it. The only negative on the earlier model was a smaller stainless steal container, which although is indestructable also got very cold which was annoying and also was too small. In fact, that's why I'm shopping is to find a larger replacement container (such as the 44 oz) for it.Bottom line though is this blender never wears out. I've had to order replacement blade assembly before after years of use but that's likely just normal maintenance item and was inexpensive.

I bought this for my son a year ago for his 3rd birthday. He loved it then and still does. It does not ride well on grass unless you are going down hill. However, we go all over the neighborhood on the sidewalks. He is as proud as can be while he rides it. We have not had any durability problems and he rides it a lot. I think this toy will be passed down to our 1 year old in good condition for many more years of enjoyment.

fun for tractor enthusiast

My 3yr old received this tractor as a gift and he absoulty loves it. The pedal did come off same with other reviewers but he can still pedal easily without it. We also have the peg perego motorcycle and I like the tractor better because it is a pedal toy. This gives his little legs a workout and wears him out. The battery powered toys only wear out mom and dad who are walking alongside.

Pedal Tractor is disappointing

We received the tractor weeks ago. After trying to use it with much frustration because the wheel wouldn't stay on we realized that there is a broken piece. We are still trying to get the correct parts. Peg Perego has been very nice to deal with on the phone to help us correct this problem. I would not recommend ordering this item from Amazon because they will not take it back. It has been a disappointing experience.

Awesome mirror. Excellent quality materials. The mirror quality is very high and provides an excellent reflection free from distortion. The mount is metal/aluminum - not plastic like other mirrors I have owned. The mirror stays put even on the roughest water. Another quality that other mirrors I've owned haven't been able to do. Great Boat Mirror

Though designed for skiers, we use this on our boat while crusing the river. I can easily see if a larger vessel is coming on my stern or, by adjusting the side mirrors, look down both sides of my boat with a single glance. This makes it very easy to monitor those on board without having to look away. Great product.

Great Water Ski Mirror.

Great adjustable side wing mirrors. Can see the whole run, even at long rope lengths.The only problem is the redesigned windshield frame clamp. The spacers for windshield thickness areliable to fall off the clamp, and/or twist off center during installation. Just an annoyance, but aconstant one when you remove the mirror each day to put the boat cover on.Aside from the clamp, this is an awesome piece. Great view.

Works great for cars

There's not a lot of information out there on using this extractor for cars, because I think most people buy it for boats instead. So I'm going to talk about how well it works on changing the oil in your car.In summary, it works great. It's really nice being able to change your oil on your own time and at your own home without getting dirty. I'm never going to Jiffy Lube again. It even works great on my lawnmower.Using the extractor is very easy. Just remove your dipstick, insert the extractor's tube into the dipstick hole until the end reaches the bottom of the oil pan (it might take some practice to get a feel for this part). Once everything is in place, pump 10-20 times. This will cause a the extractor to suck out the oil like a straw. It takes about 15 minutes for 3 quarts. That's also why I recommend the 6-liter model instead of the 2.5-liter one, so that you can suck out all the oil in one shot.Some people wonder whether all of the oil is removed this way. Unfortunately, I can't really speak to that, because that would require me to open the drain plug and investigate. However, the consensus from stuff I've read on the Internet is that the extractor does remove as much oil as the traditional method.Because changing my oil is so easy with the extractor, I always change my oil on time. Previously, I drove for thousands of miles past my "due date" because stopping for an oil change was too inconvenient. The extractor should be used after the engine has been running. The oil is less viscous and the contaminants are stirred up, making the extractor more effective.Also, please remember that your old oil must be properly recycled. Most mechanic shops will accept your old oil (I put it in a plastic orange juice container), just call ahead to make sure.

Useful product but zero support

I used this product with no problems for a couple oil changesand it was convenient and clean. But then the flexible tubegot a little worn and the flexible plastic sheathing thatcovers the spring steel tube developed several cracks.With the cracks the tube cannot hold a vacuum renderingthe product totally worthless. None of the resellers havea clue about replacement tubes, and Pela themselves aretotally unreachable. Three times in the last year I've gottenzero response to email inquiries and the last email simply bounced.I'd like to recommend this product but can't.If you're going to buy a Pela extractor then get the one withthe hard plastic tubing rather than the more flexible plasticcovered spring steel tubing. The latter will eventually crackand then it's done.

Very handy

I was looking for a device to drain the oil from my lawn/garden equipment. The "traditional" method usually ends up with oil all over the machine and driveway. This device is easy to use, fills the bill nicely, and gets ALL the oil out! A couple of points: Warm up the engine thoroughly - the oil flows out better and any particulates are in suspension. The extractor handled hot oil without a complaint. Also, the vacuum pump is attached by a non-locking gasket, and suction is applied on the upstroke. So you can forget about using the pump with one hand while holding the extraction wand with the other. Not a major problem, just requires some getting used to.

This is an excellent blade with a great price tag. I have put it through its paces on my miter saw and it cuts hard and soft woods cleanly and cuts prefinished mouldings with no tear out front or back. The large industrial style carbide will allow for many sharpenings unlike the teeth on most comparably priced blades. I will be purchasing a couple more to add to the blade rotation.

Kid Play Group Dream

What Fun! Stretching, bouncing, and getting the kids moving is so much fun with this. I even use it with three year olds! And one neat feature is that you can have adults alternate with children around a circle, and then the little kids can "hang" on the band one at a time. Wonderful for youth groups and cooperative play, trust games and team building. Can be used with up to 8 pre schoolers and about 6 middle schoolers (adults too, but we haven't done too much of that yet). Careful with storage, though. We have dogs, and the fleece covering picks up a lot of hair and other debris. So when it gets used at our house, we always have to use a lint roller. Worth the money if you are looking for non-traditional ways to play with your kids on your own or in a group setting. Doesnt take up much space, so it travels well, too.

Very good viewfinder, but fairly distorted

It's well made and the view is clear and big and eminently usable. It is a lot more distorted than I'd want my actual lens, but that doesn't keep you from using it effectively. And it's a lot cheaper than the Leica viewfinders.
