We LOVE this!!

I was so excited to see that my 20 month old got this for Christmas from his grandmother! It is the cutest toy--It has a play structure, including a merry-go-round, slide, even the little tic-tac-toe rotating blocks like they have at a real playground. There is also a little tire swing, and it comes with a tricycle. The two people that come with it are so cute also. My son's favorite feature is the fact that when you push a button at the top of the slide, you hear children's laughter. He cracks up everytime the button is pressed.

This is such a great toy, and a wonderful addition to your Little People collection!

A must have for your Little People collection

This set is so cute ... and my children (4, 3 and 1) love this set as it's just like the playground equipment they visit at our local park ... so they make the Little People do exactly what they like to do when they go to the park.

It's easy for my children to put the Little People in and out of the tire swing and on the little Merry Go Round. The Merry Go Round has music and you can hear laughter from another button at the top of the slide. The tic-tac-toe game also spins and makes a great noise as well (my 1 year old particularly likes that part!). The 1 year old also finds it easy to put the Little People on and off the bike.

As we have found with all our Little People sets - this set is extremely durable and easy to clean ... a perfect addition to your Little People collection.

great toy

This is a great toy. All of the Little People products have been very entertaining for my 18 month old daughter. She loves this one because she can swing them. It attaches to the house that we already had. We are working on making a little people city! These are wonderful, durable products.

This toy is a blast.

We have a grandson by marriage, and it seems as though it has been a long time since we have purchased baby toys. When we started looking for toys, our first choice from experience with our children was Fisher-Price. The selection of toys and their sophistication has changed a lot in the couple of decades since we last bought baby toys.This toy is a blast. Every time you push on a pad in the center of the stable you hear a horse whinny. The feeding trough at the side of the barn makes slurp noise.You get several horses, a cart, a couple of fence pieces, a corral piece, and a bale of hay. My only objection is that it appears there is no way to connect the two fences and the corral piece from one side of the barn to the other, so they pretty much have to be connected as the photograph shows. I guess the horses were intended to run away.I admit that I really enjoy that horse whinny. Our one year old grandson also thought it was a blast, and gets smiles whenever he hears it. He's still working on exactly how to make the whinny noise, but he likes it. On the other hand, the whinny drives my wife nuts.We were impressed with this first purchase of a Little People Fisher-Price toy and plan to buy more.

Great toy

I just bought this set for my 21 month old daughter and she loves it. She lets the "horsies" eat and drink at the trough and loves the slurping/crunching sounds it makes. She also digs the tractor because it comes apart and she loves anything with wheels that she can push around. She puts her other Little People farm animals in the back and give them a ride around the farm! She also loves the song that plays when you press on the hay and the neighing sound when you open the gate. This toy is great and would make a wonderful addition to your Little People farm!

Great toy!

My daughter got this when she was about 1-1/2 years old and loved it then. She's 3-1/2 now and still plays with it all the time! Now my 7-month-old has discovered it, so I'm sure I'll get another 3 years of play out of it!

Stylish and surprisingly well made

I bought this set last Christmas on eBay for a lot, lot less. All the knives and the block are made in China. I was leery at first, but to my surprise the knives have held their edge after much abuse. Razor sharp! The handle is well balanced and comfortable to hold. I don't know the exact detail of this alloy (301 steel, and 18/10 stainless) versus other brands. Under careful inspection, you can faintly see where the handle is fused to the blade. Thus I know the knife is not machined from one solid block of metal. So their claim is true?! The blade is brittle so try not to bang the blade against a harder material. Over all, I am very satisfied with the set (for what I paid for).The only "Porsche" I may ever be able to afford in my life...If you want pure/extreme quality but don't care much about design, get the Global.

Excellent!

These knifes have an awesome design, are light and well balanced. They are so sharp that cutting is really efortless.

The set also includes pretty much all the basic knives that are needed in a kitchen (except perhaps a bread knife that can be purchased separately).

Highly recomended.

Super Sharp and Extremely Comfortable Knives

These knives are amazingly sharp. They slice through everything with ease. Butterflying a chicken breast was a breeze, the knife sliced through like a razor blade. Even though the handles look like they could be uncomfortable, they fit your hand perfectly. I have also handled these knives wet and I didn't get the feeling that they were going to slip out of my hands. I beleive the pearl between the blade and the handle helped me keep a secure grip while the knife was wet. Overall these knives are terrific and I would recommend them to anyone without hesitating.

Harmonious cutting tool.

Beauty, elegance, and balance. I own A LOT of kitchen knives. I'm addicted.The design and thought that went into this knife is amazing. At first, it seems uncomfortable to hold, or weird. But, once you've taken this knife and held it and chop a couple of vegetable, you're hand will quickly form onto the knife as you grip. Your palm will gently rest on it's handle and because of the design, more of your power will be transfered thru the knife and into the vegetable or fruit you are cutting. This knife is beautiful, useful and ergonomic.

Steak knives with no serration

First I was very surprised, when I first time have seen the steak knives in a three star michelin restaurant in Alsace in France. They have no serration. They were extremely sharp. So I asked the chef, Mr. Westermann, why they are like this. And he explainded. They have no serration, so you can easy resharpen them by yourself. This way you always have the sharpest steak knife. If you resharpen them ;-)I do it very easy frequently with a stone.Everybody loves my new staek knives!

quality stone

I purchased this whetstone to go with my set of chroma knives. I thought it was a little expensive, but ordered it anyway because I felt that if you have the knives then you should probably order this whetstone. It arrived very quickly and was very nice quality. It even has rubber feet on it so it will not slip when you are using it wet. You must soak the whetstone in water for about 15 minutes, until it no longer absorbs any more, prior to using. Your knife is then drawn back and forth on the whetstone at about a 10-15 degree angle to the blade of the knife. In very little time the blade is brought back to it's original sharpness or better. It is suggested to use the whetstone 70-80 percent more on the side of the hand that you use. That would mean if you are right handed then sharpen 70-80 percent more on that side than the left side or vice versa if you are left handed. I use a ripe tomato to test the sharpness on. In all I would say that this whetstone is a good valued tool that does a great job.

Amazing

This knife is simply amazing. I use it to fillet salmon and had to readjust my style because of the sharpness of the blade compared to my old, dull, onee (caught the skin the first time). The handle is quite nice because of the weird angles associated with filleting fish and the "weird angles" of the handle. I also used it to clean 100lbs of chicken breast today just to see if there was any hand fatigue associated with prolonged use (considering buying more) and there wasn't. It's a natural fit in my hands. Probably going to go ahead and get the boning knife next.
