Transdimensional Warping

Similar to other reviewers, my pan warped by the third use. What struck me as odd about this is that it wasn't just a little warped, but really warped, like it momentarily turned to rubber and then twisted a good two inches (diagonally opposite corners raising). It looked like my oven had phased the pan into another dimension and then had trouble getting it back to our reality. Overall this is really too bad, since the pan is a perfect size and all of our other All Clad cookware is of an extremely high quality.

Warp Factor 1

Nice, shiny, new, heavy, quality product.Two uses later...Warped and buckled tray bottom, shiny, heavy, poor-quality product.I am a keen cook and I don't expect to spend this much on an so-called "quality" item only for it to warp and buckle after two uses under normal conditions.1 star.

Warped after first use

I was so excited to see this in my gold box and bought it immediately. After the first use it warped rather severely. I bet the warp will hold about one half cup of water. I used it to bake a chicken at 350 degrees. I'll be calling All-Clad to see what can be done. Otherwise it's a nice shiny pan.

Bought this lamp to replace my existing lamp in the Kitchen center table. The lamp is modern looking but pain to hang due to class parts and the cable (hanging) is not elegant.

Caveat Emptor! (Buyer Beware!)

This particular fan has worked out OK for me. BUT!!!I bought another one of these at about the same time and the unit failed completely within 5 months of its installation. I contacted Minka, who informed me that they would not honor their warranty because the unit was sold by Amazon. (They would, however, give me the repair part numbers so I could buy them. Nice of them, wasn't it?) Now Amazon tells me that they will not honor the warranty because it was sold more than 90 days ago! So I'm out the entire purchase price of this fan....I find it incredible that Amazon offers goods knowing that the manufacturer will not honor his warranties.Amazon's business has to be built on the trust of customers who are buying products sight-unseen, and I believe their action here is a violation of that trust.I'll certainly not be buying anything associated with the Minka name, and having been burned once I'll have to be more careful before buying anything from Amazon that involves a guarantee of any kind.

I am in love with a ceiling fan (?!)

I bought this ceiling fan because it has such a low ceiling clearance and we live in a 1947 cottage with relatively low ceilings. I absolutely love it! It doesn't wobble (which is amazing, considering nothing in our house is even, especially not the ceiling), it is super quiet and it brings modern elegance to our living room. It was soooo easy to put together! I am already checking out all (!) the other ceiling fans in our house to see whether we can replace them with that product...(we live in the Southeast, so we have a lot of them....). One of my best purchases for the house, ever.

Beautiful, quiet, easy to install

This fan is just beautiful. Very clean lines and it doesn't look old-fashioned like most ceiling fans. It's also very, very easy to install. Three wires connect to the fan from the remote receiver and three to your home wiring. The blades snap right into place and once the plate is mounted to your receptacle box (fan rated of course) the fan goes into place and is held by four screws. There's a little hook on the mounting plate that you can use to hold the fan in place while you make all the connections. I wish every lighting fixture had that.At low speed you can barely hear it and it seems to move quite a bit of air. It appears to be extremely well built and the fit and finish is perfect. It comes with a remote that has three fan speeds, a stop and a reverse for the fan and on/off/dimmer switch for the light.

ABSOLUTELY STUNNING

I have to be honest, I am VERY skeptical about buying furniture/home goods online because there is no viewing until its delivered. I was extremely pleasantly surprised with this lamp. The first thing you think of when you see it, it looks alot like track lights that someone would put on the ceiling.It is heavy (a good, solid weight), very smooth to the touch, and the rotating heads are absolutely beautiful. I love simplicity. This lamp is definitely for the minimalist lover. There's nothing flashy or annoying to the eye about it.I am so thrilled with this purchase. The installation is doable by a child its SO SIMPLE. It took almost 5 minutes to put together. The bulbs are STANDARD; which is wonderful, no special or expensive bulbs to be buying. I am buying this again. You will not regret this beautiful lamp. Definitely A++ purchase.

I needed a floor lamp for my porch that was inconspicuous and tasteful. This one was not too tall and a subtle design for an interior chair. My furniture is old rattan, painted white...this was the perfect blend...crisp, clean and contemporary. It helped to freshen and update the setting while offering excellent reading light.

This lamp is only 4 1/2 feet tall fully extended (ad stated less than 4 1/2 feet); a little short for many applications.I wanted to use it behind a chair for reading and found it to be too short.Still I like the lamp and will use it elsewhere.

Superior lighting for walls and pictures

I started with Juno TracMaster line voltage tracks in our living room and soon discovered that the fixtures make a huge difference in the resultant lighting in a room. We were trying to correct a very poor lighting situation, and the tracks gave us more flexibility, but it took a few tries to learn that we needed to choose the fixtures carefully for the situation. The T809 fixtures with cleverly disguised step-down transformers to light 12-volt halogen lamps solved a tricky problem of putting just enough light on our museum-glazed color photographs without harsh glare or over-lighting of the surroundings. We are still looking for a comparable improvement in throwing ambient light on the cathedral ceiling without "hot spots" or dark shadows.
