Great piece of kit

I've camped under my tarp in massive downpours and in temps down to the lows 30's F. it has held up well, hasn't leaked, and survived howling winds. I camp out every month of the year in New England, and have used the tarp for 13 months.Basically, it works as advertised. I'd like to see more tie down spots on the center line, there are only two, one at each end, while there are multiple tie downs along the edges and at the quarter fold.It's well made and sturdy, and I recommend it without reservation.

Perfect tarp for over your hammock!

I've been using a hammock for camping for 15+ years, always went with a cheap tarp, some rope and added rivets to use for over the hammock. Recently pulled the trigger and picked up a BA Tarp Lite, and just finished a camping trip with it. Simply put - I love it. It worked great, have no complaints and only 1 suggestion - they should add a couple anchor points across the top ridge. I use 1 long rope across the top, tie it off to the anchor points and around the trees. During a strong wind (15+ mph) it'd give extra strength and help reduce bowing.I thought that the winds were going to shred the tarp or pull out the anchor points, but to my surprise it held up without any visible signs of wear or tear. If you're serious about using a hammock when camping, you can't beat this tarp.

best bang for the buck!!!

This product is lighter than the cheap blue or silver tarps but way stronger. Great for the gusty trade winds here in the islands! Other tarps get the grommets pulling out but this baby is tough. This is not the ripstop lite model and its durability is more than worth the little extra weight (which is not much more). I used it for a canopy, lean-to and lowrise diagonal wing and its going strong after withstanding blasting wind and major tropical down pours while fishing and hunting. Everybody that saw and experienced its super multi-purpose functions were very impressed! Get a sharpie and have vistors sign it and log the days catch on it, it will be even more memorable as time goes on, as it should be around for years. I've had other "name-brand" tarps but this one beats 'em all!

Waterproof Tarp

I bought this tarp to put over the top of a triangular tree house I had built for my granddaughter. Because it was rectangular it had to stick out along two edges of the triangle. We had some torrential rains and it never leaked. It filled with water in some places and I had to get up there and empty it out, but it did not burst under a lot of pressure (from many gallons of water) and it did not leak. I rigged it to fold back over itself when not in use and it does that well too. So, with that experience, I can wholeheartedly endorse this product.

crazy creek tarp

when I purchased this tarp quite some time ago. It was inexpensive. I don't know what it costs now but it's been the best rain fly I've ever had and I have arranged it in all sorts of fashions in the wilderness.

Great Affordable Ultralight Backpacking Option

Product delivery was fast and the product was delivered as described. The seam sealing mentioned is a seam tape that is already applied to the seams of the product. This tarp material and workmanship has a quality feel to it.For those of you who are ground dwellers, this tarp sets up easily with trekking poles as well. The tarp comes with 6 spikes, so if you want to use trekking poles, you will probably need 4 more spikes for the break lines and the ridge lines. You will need an additional 4 spikes if you use the side tie outs. Awesome product for the price. There are tarps out there that are a few ounces lighter, but they cost MUCH more than this product.

Top of the line in Kayak seats

It fits my kayak perfectly and it is very well made. Not a cheap toy. I love the high back and the wide, thick padded seat. Very comfortable for long kayak trips.Update August 18,2009I have been using this Kayak seat every week and it is still extremely comfortable, stable and provides excellent traction. I am on this thing for at least 3 hours. The quality is superb, all the straps and clips are well made and it really looks like the best Kayak seat I have ever seen.

Good Kayak chair

This is a good kayak chair. Had to remove the 2 metal support bars on the seat bottom in order to allow it to fit in my kayak seat slot so that I could still access my center compartment. If the metal bars were made to be removed and re-inserted, it would have been perfect for my application.

It's a good seat, but needs a lot of adjustment to make it great. Take your time and do it in calm waters and you will tell your friendsto get one!! Very comfortable.

My family loves to kayak. I didn't, because after 5 minutes my back would hurt. I ordered these seats and tried them out last weekend. We kayaks for 2 hours and I had no back pain! They were comfortable and I love the little storage pockets. A great value!
