Good tool box.

I work on aircraft and got this box so I could haul tools around. This is a typical 2 drawer portable box. Nothing fancy. I looked at Craftsman boxes and thought this was going to be a little heaftier. They seem to be about the same. I could have saved some money buying the Craftsman box as they were on sale at the time. I do keep alot of tools in it and it seems to hold up well. I've been using it for about 3 months now. Wish I got one with a third drawer. Not a bad box though.

If you bake "from scratch," don't buy this machine

If you like to buy bread mixes in a box at the store, this may be a very good product. But if you like to mix ingredients from scratch, you will be annoyed by all the bells and whistles oriented towards scanning in product bar codes. The scanning technology probably accounts for the rather high price, too. On a positive note, it is attractive, and nicely sized at 16 x 13 x 9.

Wonderful, Easy-to-Use Breadmaker

Upon writing this review, I have had this breadmaker for a little over a month and it has yet to leave my counter. I've made about 15 loaves of bread with it and not one has displeased me. I love every single loaf that comes out of it.Pros:-the scanning wand really does work. I've used 3 different brandname breadmixes and all have been recognized and the machine configured automatically.-the loafpan is the shape of a normal loafpan you use to bake in the oven.-it has a compartment for adding extra ingredients such as walnuts or berries. This breadmachine can also be configured to make doughs you can freeze for later or jellies/jams, pizza dough, or some desert loaves.Cons:-Fairly large footprint so if you're tight on counterspace, you may need to find a storage area after each use.-Can't put the loafpan in the dishwasher because the coating will wear off around the edges.-This machine probably won't save you money in the long run, but it won't cost you more money than buying store-bread once you get past the initial cost of buying the machine. Breadmixes and storebought bread are comparably priced. Most people don't buy a breadmachine to save money though because we're in it for the taste.Final note:-READ YOUR MANUAL!!! It looks big but most of it is recipies in the back. There are a few things that you need to know to make a perfect loaf everytime such as adding the ingredients in the right order so the yeast doesn't activate too quickly. Once you have the process down, making bread is literally as easy as putting the paddle in the pan. Scan the box barcode and set your desired crust darkness. Add ingredients to the loafpan in the correct order. Pop the loafpan in the machine and push start. It takes 3 minutes or less, the rest is done for you, and a perfect, wonderfully tasty loaf pops out everytime.

Good Bread, Easy to Use

I totally disagree with the review above. Works fine from scratch, if you know what you're doing. If you don't, it's even easier. My roomate bought one of these and it makes great bread all the time with the scanner or with the presets. I don't have anything to compare it to because I've never owned a different bread maker, but I do know that this one works great and if you've never owned one, I recommend this one.

Nice wrenches

I already had a metric set, so I needed the SAE set to match. These seem to be just as reliable as the metric set. They has the offset, which I like, and the reversible switch. The only thing I don't like about these wrenches is the style switch to reverse the mechanism. On the metric set I have, it is a switch you can easily flip with a finger without even looking. This switch kind of slides and is a little more cumbersome. All in all, I like them.

Nice Small Platter, High Quality Product

This is a handy, smaller-size platter/serving dish in the French Garden line. Good for the main dish for dinner for 2 or 3, or possibly for a side dish. Also good for homemade bread or desserts (like brownies). I like this line and have collected it for a few years now, because of its classic French Country look, multi-color scheme, and high quality. IF one knows porcelain/china, one can easily tell just by handling whether a piece is good or poor quality. These dishes do not have the "hollow" feel that cheap china has. Although an expensive investment, I chose this pattern because: (1) I found 3 dinner plates at my local Salvation Army store for a buck a piece! (That was my initial message from the Universe that his was the pattern for me.) (2) On a trip out west, went to a Villeroy Boch outlet mall store in CO. and found them closing and this pattern on sale for 50% off or more. Bought a boxful, which they kindly shipped for $15! :-) (3) Since then I watch out for the sales and have bought just a few pieces to round out the collection. (And no - although I've looked, I've never found another piece at the Salvation Army store.)My advice when collecting any dinner pattern: always buy 1 piece more than you need in each style( bowl, dinner plate, etc). E,g., if you plan to have 8-person dinner parties, buy 9 pieces. If 6, buy 7. This way, you will always be prepared when one breaks! And according to Murphys Law, when you have an extra piece, the chances of breakage go down dramatically!

Browsing other Starrett items when I noticed that this wasn't rated. All those 5-star rating comments that are under the Starrett combo square applies here.You may not know it but the quality control on tape measures isn't as good as it should be. If you own several tape measures, compare them against each other - the results may surprise you.There are other lessons that apply here: cut once, measure twice but better yet - don't measure at all; use the same tape measure for the entire project. Those overtones aside, this is an accurate measure that's easy to read and operate. Blade stays put when locked and retracts smoothly.I've replaced all other tape measures in the shop with this one. In Starrett, we trust.

Gift for my niece

My 4 year old niece is a Barbie fanatic. She didn't have any male dolls for her Barbies. She asked me to find a husband for one of the Barbies. She gave me specific requirements: He had to be a prince, have curly hair, a little nose and little feet(I am not touching that one). Fairy Tale Prince fit the bill. She loved him. The doll is well proportioned and the costume is adequately made. She was however, disappointed that his feet were not little and bent like the Barbie's. I had to explain about high heels LOL. He is holding a bouquet. I didn't like that the little flowers were removable.

Perfect toy if they'd use it

This is a wonderful, durable toy that can take years of pounding. We bought it as a stress relief for our boys, and some side-kick moves can help develop strengthening, muscle-lengthening to help short hamstrings (one of our boys has this). The height is adjustable for various moves. I wish they used it more!2008: My kids won't use it at all. I think it's great. They haven't used it for anything but climbing on.

Great product!

I've had this punching bag for about 5 years and it is still in great shape. My kids punch, kick, climb on top of it, etc. and the thing looks good as new. The top also adjusts in height which is nice or comes completely off. When filled, it is heavy, but moves easily on top of carpet. It's a great energy release and fun at sleepovers. My 2 boys have basically grown up with this punching bag and it is still in great shape. If you are looking for a quality product, this is a great choice!

Martin Tools Check Nut Wrenches

When I purchased this tool, I was looking for a thin wrench to hold an inner stop nut on an electrical solenoid used in an aircraft electrical system. Even though I only needed one size I purchased the 7/16, 1/2 and 9/16 inch check nut wrenches just in case something came up in the future. While these tools are thinner than a typical open end wrench they were just barely thin enough for my purposes. I think they are close to 3/16 in thick and I needed something closer to 1/8 inch. However all that said, I was able to complete my work and they are a good quality tool that anyone needing a thin wrench would probably want to consider.

This is a staff !!!

This staff is awesome, nice weight and made of metal, so it gets a little slippery once you get a good sweat going. I have not stopped using it since I got it over a week ago. it took a little getting used to at first (weight and thickness is slightly greater than regular hardwood staff), but the workouts feel great. for those looking for an exhibition staff this might not move as fast a light wooden staff, but it will definitely help with the training.

The facts with a little bonus

Long Weapon - Eyebrow Height Iron Staff was received on the 16th of September in a speedy 2 day delivery, well packaged, as described in the add and I look forward to doing more business with this company in the future. Although I myself would add the weight, and length of the staff in my description.( That would take a lot of undecided off the fence and place them in to customer status.) I will soon be in the market for other practice weapons designed to be heavier than normal. I personally believe using something heavier but of the approximate shape and size lets a person hone the needed skills, judgement, accuracy, and helps to develop those muscles being called into use precisely and quickly. It weighs a little over 6 pounds, is about 68" long, is about 2 1/4" round and rounded at each end. The soft bag it comes with is nice, but would have liked it more with a shoulder strap. My son also likes it so I may need to buy a second. I will be looking for a sword, hanbo, cane, tonfa, and long pole of the same quality. Thank you for your help.

Iron staff

For a serious practitioner, this is a good tool. The staff is very heavy (compared to wooden, hollow aluminum (or other 'tournament') staffs.This is not suitable for tournament, it will be very difficult to get your speed up.However, it is excellent for training, if you have been working with a solid wooden staff for some time.If you have, this can really help your 'game'. It is also much fun to take to the do-jang, do-jo, training hall and watch the eyes of your partner when they make or take that first strike!Have fun, work hard; hit early and hit often!

Awesome for the money!!

When I first took this out of the box, I was amazed with the weight being so light and the size being so large for a Kwan Do.Having extensive long weapons practice, I would recommend it for anyone who prefers a light Kwan Do for speed performance and great for beginners as well as general practice. Fairly easy to do those complex spins and it features excellent counter balance.The price and overall make of this specific Kwan Do truly makes it comparable to those costing 3 times as much. Be careful though as this Kwan Do, like any weapons made of spring steel (unless you are trained) is not meant to be used to hit items as the blade may and will bend. Also the bottom part is meant more as a counter weight and for looks than it is for actual use as it seems to be made from not so hardened metal.Overall a fantastic buy and an equally great quality case that comes with it too.

It has a great feel, it comes with a custom fitted case, & as an added bonus, there is a 3 sided spearhead @ the other end. :) the little tassle that is connected is nice for distraction. The ring holding mine had a small opening allowing the tassle to fly off @ times, but using some pliers helped.

Good Day I would first like to start with a story of a tradesman headed home. I recieved a cell call traveling one night asking if I would authorize a on- line purchase. I told the amazon rep I was not aware of any such request of purchase he was refering to and absolutly I do not authorize the transaction. It was the start of labor day weekend and by tuesday I was able to arrest a identity freud through my financial institute initiated solely by the red flag call I recieved that earlier night. My best regards of apprecieation to the watchmen over this cyber universe in which this era we are. As for my purchase of the bessey's I wanted to attain. In a matter of several days I was able to recieve the aid of our foreign allies trade craftesmanship awaiting at my guest stays front desk to put into my hands to facilitate my blessing of participation of the initiatives that fuel and maintenance our industrial economy here in the states of America.
