This is a staff !!!

This staff is awesome, nice weight and made of metal, so it gets a little slippery once you get a good sweat going. I have not stopped using it since I got it over a week ago. it took a little getting used to at first (weight and thickness is slightly greater than regular hardwood staff), but the workouts feel great. for those looking for an exhibition staff this might not move as fast a light wooden staff, but it will definitely help with the training.

The facts with a little bonus

Long Weapon - Eyebrow Height Iron Staff was received on the 16th of September in a speedy 2 day delivery, well packaged, as described in the add and I look forward to doing more business with this company in the future. Although I myself would add the weight, and length of the staff in my description.( That would take a lot of undecided off the fence and place them in to customer status.) I will soon be in the market for other practice weapons designed to be heavier than normal. I personally believe using something heavier but of the approximate shape and size lets a person hone the needed skills, judgement, accuracy, and helps to develop those muscles being called into use precisely and quickly. It weighs a little over 6 pounds, is about 68" long, is about 2 1/4" round and rounded at each end. The soft bag it comes with is nice, but would have liked it more with a shoulder strap. My son also likes it so I may need to buy a second. I will be looking for a sword, hanbo, cane, tonfa, and long pole of the same quality. Thank you for your help.

Iron staff

For a serious practitioner, this is a good tool. The staff is very heavy (compared to wooden, hollow aluminum (or other 'tournament') staffs.This is not suitable for tournament, it will be very difficult to get your speed up.However, it is excellent for training, if you have been working with a solid wooden staff for some time.If you have, this can really help your 'game'. It is also much fun to take to the do-jang, do-jo, training hall and watch the eyes of your partner when they make or take that first strike!Have fun, work hard; hit early and hit often!
