Safeco Field: Home of Dizzy and the Mariners

Safeco Field is one of our ballparks for the Mariners. Our main home is the Boardwalk. We use Safeco Field when the real Mariners are on the road, during the Mariners' off-season, and before or after real Mariners day and night games to do season games and pick up games vs the San Francisco Giants from San Francisco, CA. During the off-season pick up and season games, the roof is closed a lot of times due to the cold/rainy seasonal weather. The Mariners hit a lot of homers out of this ballpark, including Dizzy Lamb, Mike Piazza, Pablo Sanchez and others Giants stars Alex Rodriguez, Waiting for a Girl Like You, Sammy Sosa, and Mikey Thomas hit homers out of it too. We play Friday nights.

The Seattle Mariners (Dizzy and the Mariners) play home games at Safeco sometimes vs. San Francisco Giants (Waiting for a Girl Like You and the Giants) and Seattleite Waiting for a Girl Like You has decided to join hopefully 1 season with Dizzy and the Mariners. The retractable roof is a lot of times closed when they are doing the Safeco Challenge all game long and Coach William Vogt II, down in Napa, California doing his teams, is singing Take Me Out to the Ballgame Take Me Out With the Crowd Buy Me Some Chicken Strips and French Fries I Don't Care If I Ever Get Back Cuz It's Root Root Root For the Mariners If They Lose to the Giants It's Okay (or Shame). For It's One, Two Three Strikes You're Out at the New Safeco Field. Dizzy Lamb hits a Dizzy Grand Slam and Mike Piazza when he didn't get a hit when he should have has to go sit on the bench and listen to his awful heavy metal that goes WAAAAAAHAAAAAAHWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA and thankfully Coach William Vogt II is here in the Safeco dugout to destroy it!!! But when the Giants come up, the visitors, The Big Three come up, Ichiro, Alex Rodriguez and the lovely Seattleite Waiting for a Girl Like You. When Ich is at bat the coach says "Yes You Will Ich" and thinks of him in Seattle because he's his 2nd favorite Seattle figure and roots for him in real life at Safeco and watches him at Safeco on television. When Alex Rodriguez is at bat, if he hits a homer out of Safeco, the coach gets very excited and goes "WOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOO HOOOO HOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! (clap hands) YEAH!!! WAY TO GO RODRIGUEZ!!!! WOOOO HOOOOO!!! (clap hands) YEAH!!!!WAY TO GO RODRIGUEZ IN SEATTLE!!!!! When Waiting for a Girl Like You is at bat, if she hits a home run, the coach always sings the chorus of the song Waiting for a Girl Like You to her, when she hits a line drive she runs really fast and always sometimes tries to steal a base. When a pitcher throws at the person, Abner Dubbleplay always says "Hey Be Careful Where You Throw That Thing", Abner Dubbleplay, the Mariners' first batter of A-Z listens to jazz. When Pablo Sanchez, ONE OF THE MARINERS' BIGGEST STARS, comes up he says "Esca La Boula". The pitcher for the Mariners is the robot Mr. Clanky.
