Product Description

The F.L.E.T.C.H. high ride holster is one of Galco’s most popular designs. Its unique two-piece construction is contoured on the body side to the natural curve of the hip, keeping all the molding on the front of the holster, allowing for significantly more comfortable carry and a narrower profile than an ordinary pancake type holster*. Hand-molded to fit specific handguns, the F.L.E.T.C.H. features a reinforced thumb break for security, combat grip accessibility for speed, double-stitched seams for durability, and covered trigger guard for safety. The retention strap configuration is specific to individual firearms types, and varies depending on firearm model. The F.L.E.T.C.H. is constructed of premium saddle leather and made to fit belts up to 1 3/4". Made for semiautomatic pistols and double-action revolvers, the F.L.E.T.C.H. is available in right or left hand designs in tan or black finish. *Not available on some holster fits.

5Best holster I have
By Peter Ostman
I suppose like many of you I have tried a lot of different holsters over the years. There is usually a tradeoff between concealability, ease of access and comfort. I have always found that inside-the-pant holsters are the most concealable but not always the most comfortable. Well, now that I have a carry permit my primary concern changed slightly from concealability to more comfort. I still wanted to conceal, but the threat of having my expensive gun confiscated and a criminal CCW record is no longer a problem. My other concern was being able to safely carry a 'cocked & locked' single action semi-auto, my favorite type. I have a Colt Officers ACP (.45) and this holster accommodates both concerns and also fits my gun perfectly. The thumb break design fits perfectly over the firing pin unlike some other holsters I have. It's a little bit clumsey for me to open the snap, but I think some practice will solve that problem. I was also concerned that a belt slide rig might be a problem for belt loops because it always seems like there's one in the way and every pair of pants is different. Well, depending on how I loop the belt through this rig I found that belt loops can usually be worked around. What I mean is that your pants belt can either be looped over or under this holster, depending on where your pant loops are located. This affects the stability of the holster only slightly as long as your pants belt has enough adjusting range to accommodate the extra girth, or lack of extra girth. I still my use an inside the pant rig for certain circumstances, like summertime when clothes are less bulky. That aside, I think this will be my primary all day carry rig. The only negative I have found is that compared to a paddle type rig, the belt slide units are harder to remove and apply. This negative is offset by the fact that paddle type rigs are less stable with bigger guns and they tend to hand out more making them less concealable.

5Galco Holster
By isaiah41-ten
One of the best holsters I have ever bought, fits the gun perfect and feels great on my side. Price was comparable but a little cheaper on Amazon. I will buy a Galco holster again in the future.
