I emailed Kettler to determine whether or not they manufacture this tricycle. Here is their response:The Super Trike line of Kiddi-o is indeed manufactured by KETTLER. The Kiddi-o line is an exclusive to Toys R Us only.

We purchased this trike at ToysRUs when my son was 23 months old. He is average-sized, very athletic and was able to pedal this trike without assistance on the very first ride. The push bar is a wonderful feature, although we only used it for about a week...we should have bought this when he was 18 mths! After we assembled it, we realized the dump bucket was missing from our box...I called the Kiddi-o customer service dept and they promptly shipped one to us, no hassles. My son has "tested out" many other trikes when we've visited friends and relatives. Not all trikes are created equal! This one is easy for toddlers to steer and pedal, very hard to tip over, and the large highback seat is well-designed!(By pushing back into the seat, he gets extra resistance to pedal up hills, and over uneven terrain. On other trikes with small flat seats, he has repeatedly slipped off the front or back of the seat, toppled the trike & gotten hurt or frustrated.) Prior to buying this, I felt $60 seemed like a lot to spend on a trike he might quickly outgrow. I have no regrets now however, and feel that this is a safe, practical, well-made tricycle that will last many years.

My daughter loves it!

My daughter recently got this toy for her second birthday from her grandparents. She loves it! She's a little small for it right now, but her feet can reach the pedals. My husband and I enjoy pushing her in it due to the awesome rear steering this trike has. And she loves pushing it around, too! The canopy is a big plus as it has a window in the top so who ever is pushing it can also see the child riding it.
