Great Rock Gun

I like JBL spearguns and have owned 2 of them in the past. This 2 band version of their 38 Special is perfect for the tight conditions found in rock hunting like we have here in Northern California. The balance helps you line up on the target easily and tracks well when you pull the trigger. I like the upgrade they did with the new trigger and safety lock mechanisms, they have a nice smooth finish and feel very well machined. The parts glide smoothly and with little effort. The shaft fits into the grove easily and lock into place with a solid click. It moves easily through the water and has a slightly negative buoyancy making it ideal for a free diver.
