Compact and loaded with practical features, the JR delivers peace of mind.Designed for deployment of lift bags the Manta Junior Reel is constructed with all stainless steel hardware, the spool is machined out of one piece of UHMW (Ultra High Molecular Weight) plastic. This plastic has one of the highest resistance's to the elements, and reel is supplied with either 185' (56.4 meters) of #30 nylon line or 250' (76.2 meters) of #24 nylon line.The reels frame is anodized aluminum and the 3.25" (8.3 cm) bolt clip is made of brass for corrosion resistance. Reel is factory set for tension, yet it still has a diver adjustable tension control. The unique spring loaded AFS (Anti-Free Spool) system mechanically prevents free falling and free spooling of line which almost eliminates the chance of backlash or bird nesting. The reel is made in the USA and comes with a 60 month limited warranty.

Manta junior Reel

I purchased this to use with my dive bouy when ascending. All I can say is it worked flawless. This is my first time using a reel, so I really didnt know what to expect. It worked great and I would highly recommend it to anybody wanting to get a bouy/dive sausage setup. It was not cumbersome and disnt take up any room. Was small enough to be unobtrousive while being easily accessible. I mounted it on my weak side. It worked out great.The reel is well built, sturdy and is very durable and will give years of good, solid service. I highly recommend it
