La Piana Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena has won the right to be called "Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale di Modena" after being judged by the Consorzio Produttori and tasted at least 5 times. It is aged over 25 years and thus is usually used one drop at a time.

Taste of Heaven

I purchased this product at a little shop in Venice last year. I had been looking everywhere for a "traditional" bottle. This is simply heaven over ice cream or cheese. I use this for very special occasions and it has never disappointed.
The packaging includes some very nice recipes and other serving suggestions.

I have not opened this bottle of vinegar yet,I,m waiting for strawberry season. However, this is the second bottle I have purchased, and I like it a lot. It is delicious with fresh ripe berries and melons,good breads,and as a finish for some vegetables and meats. It is the best balsamic vinegar I personally have ever tasted.
