Truly a great scope

Weaver scopes, in my experience and that of my friends, are on par with Leupold and Nikon. The price is lower, but not so low as to sink into the bargain realm where quality and optics are questionable.I mounted this guy on my Marlin 60. The gun is so slim and trim that it is a real shame to bulk it up too much with a big zoom scope.This one has as nice, thin reticle, so it is easy to make a precision shot even though it doesn't have a ton of magnification.

Weaver Rimfire Scope

I purchased the Weaver Rimfire 4X28 Riflescope to mount on a Marlin 795 .22 lr. I felt the slim, lightweight design particulairly suited it for the Marlin's sleek platform. I chose the matte finish which compliments the finish on the Marlin nicely. What really matters though is it's performance. I find it to perform better than other competitively priced models while still retaining all the features one associates with the long Weaver tradition. It isn't the finest scope money can buy but is priced accordingly. Windage and elevation adjustments are easy and concise. It was quick to sight in and has held true since. It's a fine value for it's price range and in my mind superior to others in it's price range.
