Fluke and Pomona test leads are identical (same company)

Just an FYI from a friend of mine who works for FLUKE - Their test probes and test leads are made by Pomona electronics. You may be able to find this exact same item with the Pomona name stamped on it for a lower price and it will be identical to the Fluke model since Fluke owns Pomona now.Both fluke and pomona make excellent and safe test leads. These feature the fixed safety sheild to prevent you touching the conductor which is becomming more common on meters to prevent shock.You may find some other products more well suited to your application - for example, telecommunications people will like these: Fluke TEST LEADS W/ BED OF NAILS ( MT-8203-20 ) and you can get the whole pomona kit here, which is a better deal Pomona Deluxe DMM Test Lead Kit, Multi-Use, Maxi Kit

Sometimes you need test leads that grip the test points. This is my test lead choice. Grips and lets go as needed and works great giving you sure circuit contact every time. went bad after six months

I am an HVAC tech in southern California, I purchased a set of these in September of 2011 and after six months of use I started getting bad ohms readings when I touched the tips. I called Fluke to get a replacement, they were very friendly and said a replacement would be sent out in 4 to 6 weeks, they never came. Called them again today for a replacement, got a bit of the run around but they agreed to send out another set.When these were working properly they were great! Several of my coworkers got these after seeing me use them, I would recommend them a bit more if I got my replacements on time.
