Ajika Spice boxes are custom made for Ethnic Foods Co. in high quality steel and our pure spices are hand packed in small batches to ensure freshness.
The traditional spice box (masala dabba as it is known in India) is a must have in every Indian kitchen. It is to an Indian cook what a color palette is to an artist. The large, round stainless steel box contains one spoon to use with the spices and seven stainless steel spice cups. The box has two lids - an inner plastic lid to keep spices fresh and an outer lid that serves as the cover.The box comes with the following spices: Cumin seeds, Turmeric, Mustard seeds, Whole garam masala, Red chile powder, Fennel seeds, Coriander powder.

sturdy dubba, decent spices

A fine masala dubba: sturdy construction, decent size(small enough to fit on a shelf), and has an inner cover. This is my first dubba, so I can't confirm the "Superior Quality", but it does what I need it to do and I don't imagine any reason you might be disappointed with it. I've heard that some cheaper ones arrive dented or the lids are warped, so maybe the superior quality is in the slightly thicker metal.

I have to say this is one of the best quality spice boxes I have ever seen. The steel is very heavy duty. The spices that come with it are beautifully packaged in a box for gift giving. I love the contemporary look of Ajika brand products!

I bought this as a Christmas present for my nephew the chef and he loved it. He uses the organizer for his spices when he's preping his meals. Definitely a great present for a chef.
