This is a thick solid steel plate and the welds are very nice. Extremely stable with one or eight olympic bars. Contemplated making one of these myself because they are not cheap, but glad I purchased this one. It was actually one of the lower priced one's I looked at and I am sure quality does not get any better than this regardless of the price. Nice having my bars off the floor.

This product is excellent and works great for my olympic bars. Sturdy too. Am able to remove bars without wobbling or tipping over.

does the job

Did not think much about it at first, but this bar holder has come to be quit nice in the gym. Can hold the bars upright with put the fear of falling over when you take one out to use.
