An interesting and effective training weapon and self-defense tool.

I have been involved in the martial arts and self-defense fields for more than 60 years. My passion is also for all kinds of combat and self-defense weapons. I especially love hidden type weapons and this Tamo Hidden Dagger is one of the models I have purchased and practiced with over the years. When placed together you can use this as a closed short stick weapon, which is one of my specialities. You can block and strike with this tool like a Yawara stick, as well as use it for control or takedown techniques. When you pull them out they become short daggers, which you can use in deadly force self-defense situations. You should learn some basic knife handling if you intend to practice with this self-defense tool.It is important that you keep in mind that in order to become proficient you should seek out an instructor who has experience in not just the techniques of self-defense , but also the basic use of force and self-defense laws before carrying or using this weapon.In conclusion, the Tamo Hidden Dagger is an excellent and fun weapon to train with for self-defense purposes.Rating: 4 Stars.
