Product Description
Build your own workbenches with our excellent selection of tops. They are made of Eastern hard rock (sugar) maple and coated with a Durakryl finish. This finish leaves the maple a natural color with a satin smooth, low sheen surface which is virtually maintenance free. The top can be cleaned like any other counter surface using soap and water, bleach or fingernail polish remover.• Measures 60" W x 36" D x 1-3/4" T • Made from Eastern hard rock (sugar) maple • Coated with a food safe Durakryl finish • Made in USA Maple workbench tops are flat when glued together at the factory. However, you must allow time for them to adjust to the temperature and humidity of their new home before they will return to their factory condition. Do not store the workbench in a damp location or lay flat on a concrete floor as this may cause the top to warp. Please note that these are designed as workbench and shop cabinet tops. If used as kitchen countertops, additional sanding and finishing will be required.

We bought this after IKEA stayed constantly out of stock in-store and online for a counter we intended to purchase from them. We used it as a kitchen island countertop and it looks great, no one had any idea this is meant for a work bench. Very heavy, great quality and if you have to trim off a bit (as we had to), after sanding down it looked/felt brand new. Would highly recommend as an expensive counter option.

I bought this for an island I have in my kitchen, it said it was for a workbench. I was so impressed on how beautiful this butcher block top was, I would recommend this company to everyone.

I built a standing desk, and this is the top for it. It was delivered by UPS Freight. They called ahead for delivery arrangements and arrived w/in the 4 hour window the ygave me. It is 124# or so. The UPS guy will get it to the back of the truck & you're on your own from there. The UPS guy is not interested in having you open and inspect the package before signing for it. Have something sharp to open the box and a camera to document any problems, and simply stand your ground with the driver. There's a label on the box telling you to do so, as well. Mine was undamaged. The thing will be around long after I'm gone.
