5Old design for today's diving challenges
By M. Al-Khatreash
Old school fins, they are more than 30 years old design; they provide great performance with minimal effort. I own high performance modern fins from another manufacture and there are no comparisons to the Jetfin. My finning technique has improved with the Jetfin and my air consumption has been reduced. I do recommend them for recreation divers and they are a must for technical dive.

5Best Fin for the Serious Diver
By Chris
These fins provide unparalleled force transfer and responsiveness. However, that being said, if you have poor finning technique, this will kick your rear. If you don't learn to do a proper frog kick, these can get tiring. But when you need to get out of a current or need the power, these things deliver much better than the various other performance and split fins I have used. One drawback is the weight. These will definitely eat up a chunk of your luggage allowance. Coupled with a backplate and regs., you'll be lucky if you can fit in any clothes without going over the limit. All in all, these fins are great. One thing I don't understand are people who say they have been through many pairs. Unless they lose the old ones, I don't see why they would ever need to be replaced. The rubber is extremely thick and durable. The heel springs are definitely a plus if you get them. However, I got my fins in college when I was poor as dirt. So, I got some very thick gauge bungie, threaded it through a larger in diameter section of tube of rubber hose and tied the bungie through the strap connections. That was 6 years again, and that setup still works wonderfully. It is a pain to tie the first time if you get the right size bungie, because the diameter should be slightly larger than the size of the holes on the connection buckles. But after that, super easy on and off and an easy on and off fin that is still secure on your feet.

5The Standard for technical diving
By O. Baez
I have 2 pair one in XL and one in 2XL depending on which set of booties I use my normal shoe size is men's 11 but with the thicker booties ( wet5mm /rock boots)the upper surface of my toe knuckles where getting severely abraded with the XL so I saw a used set of XXL on Amazon (totally new) and my toe knuckles are no longer abraded! About the fin they are the heaviest in this niche of fins( I own the OMS for travel very light weight monoprene but same basic design) they are rubber, they get abused by my style of use but I will bet that they will be around for generation. They work great for all technical kicks flutter , frog, reverse, and helicopter. That's why they are standard for technical diving.
