Bang for Buck

The guv'nor plus is a very good pedal for the money. I got this on sale for $59.00. I don't think you could do any better on another pedal. It is very warm tonally. The distortion is more like a hot overdrive, which I like. I'am not into ultra high gain stuff. It does mild crunch very well. The eq is pretty good. It gives you more control than standard low/high tone controls. It can give your amp a nice big 4/12 cab sound. It's too bad Marshall doesn't make them any more.

sounds as good or better than most

I've been playing for over 40 years, owned many Marshall amps. This is the first Marshall pedal for me. It sounds great with my Fender and Marshall amps. It has a wide range of distortion, from grunge to near new metal. Compared to other OD pedals I've had it's a steal for the asking price. I've owned/own Fulltone, Visual Sound, Radial, Electro Harmony, Vox, Barber, many others. It's a nice OD with many options to tune it the sound you want and it plays well with all the amps I have tried it with.

For 19.99 this thing is a tone tank. Heavy, well built. I demo'd it for the first time a few days ago and it rocked. Anywhere from blues to old school rock-n-roll this will cover it and for the price you cant beat it.
