Product Description
Like its larger predecessor the 206, the 106 features the Billingham PressTop which gives maximum access to the bag. Carbon fibre rods in the top gusset provide a light weight stiffeners allowing improved access to the main compartment. Carbon fibre will flex but won't bend and get misshapen. The 106 is constructed using Softweave canvas with Billingham StormBlock protection. The 106 has SuperFlex partions, the 8-15 and flap, a zippered back pocket, military spec. webbing throughout, chunky leather shoulder pad and grab handles. The 106 is great for a small kit of either 35mm or medium format but two front pockets offer space for accessories and optional AVEA side pockets can be added for more space. Features New, soft-weave fabric which helps eliminate abrasions, combined with Billingham StormBlock for completely waterproof canvas. B illingham PressTop lets you easily access your camera equipment on the move, through a cavernous, zippered opening. Gap-free zi p-ends prevent water and dust ingress and double zip-pullers restrict access when working in crowds etc. Double grab handles wi th original Billingham leather grip. The Best Camera Bag Ever!

Billingham 106 (aka press top) is a great multi-fuctional camera bag.I thought this bag worth every penny for its great design and color.Yet, that was not what this bag is all about...the size works just perfect for me. I usually carry my EOS 5D mark III mounted with EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM lens and additional EF 85mm f/1.2L II USM lens.sometimes I use this bag for my EOS 5D mk III mounted with 50mm f/1.2L USM lens and additional EF70-200mm f.2.8L USM lens. actually, you can also put your strobe on top of the camera and still be able to close and seal the bag!!! (the bag still has the normal rectangular shape and looks just great!)Durability might be another reason to choose 106.the material and every stitch line are perfectly well made.Yet, just like all the other products, the 106 has some down side as well.firstly, the bag is HEAVY!! (without all those crazy heavy chunks of metal and glass, it is still heavy)also, it takes some time to get your gear out because you have to follow the important procedures below.1. you open the grabbing part2. then pull those two buckles out of the pin to unlock them3. then pull those belts out of the square ring to unleash them4. then open the top lid5. then open the zipper under the lid6. then spread out the carbon fibered flexible covers (no biggie)7. then finally grab your gear and take them out!!! YAY!!!!of course you can leave it open and skip some procedures for your own good!other than that, the 106 is my favorite camera bag.* Pros:Great Design and colorSufficient Space to carry your valuable gearsGreat DurabilityGreat weather proof design (every zipper and button are covered with lid)* Cons:HeavyComplex opening proceduresHope this helps.
