Black Leather Catalog Case, envy of my office

I purchased this Leather Wheeled Catalog Case a while back and do not regret it. A number of Realtors in my office had just purchased vinyl cases and when they saw mine, they were wishing they had looked more closely at what they were buying. I had gone to the local office supply stores and was not impressed at all with what they had to offer. Our files are legal size and a number of the Catalog cases are not wide enough to handle these files while this has space to spare and the rollers are smooth running too. The insert that is supposed to hold a laptop isn't quite long enough but it isn't really necessary. I am anything but gentle with my case and it has held up well. Supplier was excellent too.

I have personally found that not only is the quality of this case excellent, but also is the price. I have looked at other web sites & called distributors, but have not found any to meet up with the quality of this case. It has alot of room & fits what I need to carry. I highly recommend this product with no hesitation. PB

Nice leather catalog case, but...

This leather wheeled catalog case is well made, beautiful, and sturdy. Although the case is made in China, the leather is American-made and is very nice. However, the case design leaves something to be desired. 1) The internal compartments (one on each side) are flimsy and bow out if you put anything heavy in them, like an umbrella. I put some stiff cardboard inside the compartment so that it holds its shape. 2) The accordion file is located in a zippered compartment outside the case, and is sealed by a velcro flap which cannot be locked and tends to stick out if you put anything inside the file. A stiff flap that lays flat secured by a combination lock would have been better. 3) The case does not have a zipper pouch inside the top cover to lock up small things like keys or jewelry or a stack of business cards. Most good quality cases have these design features. I suggest that you check out the pictures closely and make sure this is what you want. If you get the case and change your mind, Amerileather is very easy to deal with. As for me, I like the overall sturdiness, good wheels, and nice leather of this case, but I still like my 20 year old, million-mile catalog case a lot better. Sigh.
